Two months later...
It had been a while since I submitted my essay to the colleges I planned on going to...
What if I get rejected by them all?!?! Will I have to go to community college?!?!
I had been checking my emails every second of the day but I there was nothing... until today...
April: "OH MY GOD!"
I run to the living room to my dad.
I jumped on the couch beside him...
Dad: "Why are you so excited?"
April: "I- the I- just got an- AHHH!"
I couldn't even get my words out...
Dad: "What?"
April: "EMAIL! UCLA!!"
Dad: "Oh my god! Open it!!!"
I calm myself down before opening it...
Why am I even excited. There is no way I'm getting accepted. They have a 10% acceptance rate I doubt I'll get in...
I click the email.
I read the email...
April, Congratulations! I am delighted to inform you that you have been admitted to University of California, Los Angeles.
April: "I got in???"
Dad: "APRIL THIS IS GREAT!!"
April: "Oh my god, I GOT IN!!!"
My dad hugged me as I still couldn't believe my eyes...
Dad: "I can't believe your going to leave me to go to California!!"
April: "Don't worry dad I'll come visit as much as possible!!"
Dad: "You better!!"
I thought about what my dad said...
I can't believe your going to leave me to go to California
It made me realize...
Matt!
April: "Dad I'll be right back I have to call someone..."
Dad: "Okay."
I run over to my room looking for Matt in my contacts.
I call him...
"April!"
April: "Hi Matt!"
Matt: "Whats up?"
April: "Um... are you free right now?"
Matt: "Yeah!"
April: "Wanna get lunch?"
Matt: "Sure! I'll come pick you up in 20."
April: "Okay!"
I hang up.
Will we be able to do long distance?!
I decide to get ready.

I get off the phone with April.
I head to the kitchen where Nick and Chris were...
Matt: "Sorry guys but we can't have lunch together."
Nick: "Why not?"
Matt: "April just called me wanting to hang out!"
Nick: "What! Ugh."
Chris: "It's okay Nick, I can call Mya to drive us to lunch!"
Nick: "And third wheel? Yeah, no thanks!"
Chris: "Fine, it'll just be me and Mya then!"
Nick: "Ugh this is so annoying!"
I grab my shoes and start driving to April's place...
