April's pov:
Matt: "I can walk you home... if you want?"
April: "Yeah, I'd love that!"
Me and Matt got up off the swings and we started walking.
Matt: "So... um... why are you working at Panera and that Pizza place?"
Matt said breaking the silence. I stayed quiet for a second. Matt looks at me...
Matt: "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked that..."
April: "No it's fine... Me and my dad aren't doing well, financially."
Matt: "Oh I'm sorry."
April: "It's okay. Anyways that's why I have two jobs, to help out my dad."
Matt: "What about your mom?"
April: "I don't really know much about her. She left me and my dad when I was younger, and she took my brother. I've never seen them since."
Matt: "Oh..."
April: "But Yeah, I've been trying to help my dad with money ever since I was young. I would try anything and everything I could do to make even a penny. Actually that park we were at, I used to sell lemonade there when I was 8."
Matt's pov:
April: "Actually that park we were at, I used to sell lemonade there when I was 8."

Flashback 10 years ago:
Me and Chris were playing basket ball while Nick was playing on the slide. That's when I noticed a girl selling lemonade...
Matt: "Look at that girl, she looks sad. Should we buy lemonade from her?"
Chris: "I don't have money."
Matt: "I think I have a dollar."
I pull out a dollar bill from my pocket.
Matt: "I'll go ask Nick!"
I run over to Nick...
Matt: "Hey Nick wanna get lemonade?"
Nick: "How much?"
Matt: "It says a dollar."
Nick: "I have a few coins let me count... 15, 35, dang I only have 63 cents."
Matt: "I guess I'll go buy some myself then."
I walk up to the lemonade stand...
Matt: "Hey can I get one lemonade."
She looks up at me...
???: "Yes, of course!"
Matt: "Thank you!"
I hand her my dollar and walk away.
One week later:
Chris: "Matt we're going to the park get ready!"
Matt: "Okay!"
We arrived at the park and I saw the lemonade girl again...
Matt: "It's the girl from last time!"
Chris: "Okay?"
Matt: "Dang it, I should've brought a dollar! Do you have money?"
Chris: "No, why would I bring money to a park?"
Matt: "Ugh!"
The girl then waved at us...
Matt: "Oh my god she just waved at me, what do I do?!"
Chris: "Go over there!!"
Chris pushes me...
Matt: "Hey!"
Girl: "Hey, it's you again!"
She pours me a cup...
Matt: "I actually don't have money."
Girl: "That's Okay, for free!"
Matt: "Thanks!"
Girl: "See you next Saturday?"
I nod.
End of flashback...

Matt: "Oh my god, THAT WAS YOU?!?!"
April: "What?... wait... You were the one that always bought my lemonade?!?!"
Matt: "Yes!!
April laughs...

Flashback:
Matt: "Mom, can I have a dollar?!"
Mom: "Why?"
Matt: "Uh no reason, I just want a dollar. Please?"
Mom: "Fine."
Chris: "Matt hurry up we're leaving!"
Matt: "Coming!!"
We got to the park and I see the lemonade girl.
Matt: "Hi!"
Girl: "Hi!"
She pours me a cup and I hand my dollar to her.
Next week...
Matt: "Nick do you have a dollar?"
Next week...
Matt: "Dad can I have like 5 dollars?!"
Next week...
Matt: "Chris how much money do you have? Can I barrow some?"
Next week...
Matt: "Justin can I have some money? I'll pay you back I swear!"
Every week I would try to get money for lemonade, except this week was different...
We were are the park. I take out my dollar ready to buy some lemonade like always.
Matt: "What!??"
Chris: "What's wrong?"
Matt: "Lemonade girl... she's... not here?"
Chris: "Maybe she was busy."
Next week...
Matt: "She's still not here."
Next week...
Matt: "She's still gone?"
Next week...
Matt: "I don't think she's coming back."
End of flashback...

Matt: "I used to beg my parents for money to buy lemonade, and then one day you just disappeared and I thought I'd never see you again."
April: "I'm sorry for disappearing like that. My dad thought the lemonade stand was a waste of time since I would barley get any money, but thanks for always buying my lemonade!"
Matt: "Of course!"
April: "Oh well we're here. Thanks for walking me home!"
Matt: "No problem."
April: "Goodbye Matt."
Matt: "Goodbye April."
She walks off heading inside the apartment building.
