I finished eating my pancakes and placed my plate in the sink.
Everyone had left the kitchen so it was just me. I stood still for a second thinking of what I should do...
Should I go check on Matt? He was acting super weird earlier.
I slowly made my way to Matt's room. The door was shut. I knock.
*Knock Knock*
Matt: "Yeah?"

Matt's pov:
I was chilling on my bed.
Ugh I can't believe Nick.
Suddenly I heard a knock.
*Knock Knock*
Matt: "Yeah?"
I swear to god if it's Nick trying to apologize for earlier I'm going to kill him...
"Can I come in?"
It wasn't Nick... it was April.
Matt: "Oh uh- yeah!"
April walks in and closes the door behind her. She then slowly makes her way towards me sitting down beside me on my bed...
April: "You okay?"
Matt: "Yeah."
April: "Okay.
We go silent for a moment...
April: "Um... can I ask you something?"
Matt: "Sure."
April: "Why haven't you asked me out yet?"
Matt: "What?!!"
I look at April in shock...
April: "Why haven't you asked me out? You like me, don't you?"
Matt: "Ugh you heard Nick didn't you."
April: "Well yeah, but I already knew you liked me."
Matt: "Is it that obvious?"
April: "You randomly asked for my number when I delivered you pizza. I kinda had a feeling from the start!"
I nervously laugh...
Matt: "Okay... Do you want to have dinner this Saturday?"
April: "Yeah, I'd love to!"
Matt: "Great!"
April smiles at me...
April: "It's a date then!"
I smile back at April...
Matt: "It's a date!"

April: "Anyways, I should head home!"
Matt: "Oh I can drive you!"
April: "No, it's okay. I wanna walk home anyways."
Matt: "Oh okay."
April: "See you Saturday!"
Matt: "Bye."
I leave Matt's room...
Holy shit did that really just happen?!
I try to contain my excitement when I bump into someone. That someone was Nick...
Nick: "Oh hey April!"
April: "Hey! I'm heading out."
Nick: "Aww so soon?"
April: "Yeah I gotta go."
Nick: "Kay bye!"
April: "See ya!"
I walk off when I suddenly stop. I turn around...
April: "Nick?"
Nick: "Yeah?"
April: "Matt's not pissed at you."
Nick: "What?"
April: "You should go talk to him! Cya!"
Nick: "Wai-"
I head to the front door putting on my shoes and leaving...

I head to Matt's room.
Matt: "Hey."
Nick: "Um what happened?"
Matt: "What do you mean?"
Nick: "April said your not pissed at me anymore?"
Matt: "Oh yeah everything's fine now."
Nick: "Um okay?"
Matt: "Anyways, now I have a date!"
Nick: "Woah WHAT?! HOW?!?!
Matt: "I don't know, it just happened!"
Nick: "No way! CHRIS COME!!"
Chris walks in...
Chris: "What?"
Nick: "Matt has a date. A DATE!"
Chris: "With April?"
Nick: "Nah with Olivia Rodrigo, of course with April!"
Chris: "Hey, Olivia's my bae!"
Nick: "HELLO! MATT HAS A DATE WITH PANERA GIRL!!!"
Chris: "Finally Matt had the balls to ask her out! Congrats man!!"
