I couldn't take it anymore. He started saying things about how I talk and it reminded me of everything he had said about me. This wave of emotion ran over me like I had never felt before. So, I texted Luke. He was there with in minutes and I ran.
"Are you okay?" Luke asked after speeding off.
I just looked at him.
"Sorry. Dumb question." He said.
I looked at the window still not wanting to talk.
"Yours or mine?" Luke aske.
"Yours." I said tired of us always being at my house.
Luke opened the door to his room.
Of course it was messy.
"You should really clean up in here." I said.
"No. I'm to lazy." He wined.
"Fine I'll do it." I said picking up some dirty shirts.
"No. Look let's watch a movie or something." He said.
I agreed and we started watching all my favorite movies. He made us popcorn and gave me one of his old shirts to sleep in. I tied my hair in a messy bun.
"So what do you want to watch next?" He asked.
"I'm actually really tired." I said.
"Alright." Luke said with a half smile.
He got up and started moving things so he could make a place in the floor.
"Um Luke." I said.
"Yeah?" He answered.
"Could you sleep with me tonight?" I asked.
He looked up at me slightly shocked.
"I um.. Yeah I guess why?" He asked.
"I just-the whole Ashton thing. I-it wasn't just what he said today it like triggered everything he's ever said." I told him.
"Haz." He said getting up from the floor.
He hugged me and I started to cry again.
"Its okay." He said.
"No Luke. You don't get it. Its never going to be okay."
"I'll make it okay then. I'll start taking up for you. Things are changing Haz." He said.
I laied down and he held me while I cried.
I woke up to a loud noise downstairs. It didn't wake Luke and I hoped it didn't wake his mom because she had work tomorrow.
"Luke." I whispered shaking him.
"Hmm." He mumbled.
"I heard something." I said.
"Okay." He said.
It took me a minute but I finally got him up. We heard it again.
"Someone is at the door." He said.
"At 3am?" I said.
Luke opened the door.
I was shocked.

"Ashton!?" Luke and I said in unison.
