I couldn't say I'm happy to be here because that would be a lie.

I mean, who likes to go somewhere that isn't fun at all? Contently stressing about homework, assignments, tests, and worst of all, exams.

And don't get me started about the presentation. I have the worst stage fright, so every time the class has a presentation assignment... My anxiety ruins my overall mark, which sucks.

Luckily for me, I'm in my last year of high school, thank God! Can't wait to get this shit over with so I can study something I actually like! Prep teacher or an office lady, I know it's not amazing, but I can always change careers.

"Katie, come on, the bell is going to ring," my best friend Bella called out to me.

Crap, I was daydreaming again.

I got up and grabbed my bag and my books, I went to rush after my best friend, but instead, I collided into a brick wall.

I mean, how lucky is that? And why the hell is there a wall in the middle of the hallway?!

I looked up and instantly frozen in one spot. Well, it's definitely not a brick wall....

Piercing grey eyes poured into mine, like he's literally looking into my soul. He has really pale skin, dark black spiked hair that almost covers his eyes and looks like he's possessed. I'm not kidding either,

I've seen him from time to time. He just looked so unnormal, like there is something wrong with him. But every time I would ask someone, they just say he's kind and basically don't tell me shit all that I wanted to know. It's like they are seeing a totally different person to what I'm seeing through my eyes at all.

But for a long time, I just kept my distance and just told myself not to judge a book by its cover. Maybe he is nice? Even though I get the creepy crawls up my arms.

But of course, I had to bump into him today!

He frowned at me but then smirked, and I swear I saw a sharp tooth. Maybe he likes wearing fake vampire teeth? Who am I to judge?

"Well, this is the first," his deep voice said, making me blush and a creepy shiver run down my spine.

Oh my God, I'm just standing here just staring at him like a complete weirdo. And I've been telling myself that he's a weirdo, I need to look in the mirror! oh my god!

I turned away, holding my books closer, "sorry," I mumbled and rushed off, getting to my class two minutes late... Great.

"Sorry miss, I'm late," my cheek still feel like they are red hot tomatoes.

"Yeah, by the redness on your face, it is not an excuse, but I'll only let it slide this time, now sit," Ms Taylor said, or should I say Ms grumpy ass

Hate English, and honestly, my teacher is the reason I hate it. I swear she has had it out for me since day one. I have no idea what I've done, but I have a feeling it's because of my annoying cousin who used to be in her class last year.

He's such a pain in the ass and I'm so glad he moved to another school.

I sat next to Bella, flopping my head onto the desk, making an exhausting noise.

"Where were you? You were literally right behind me," she whispered into my ear.

I lift my head up, "I-I... F-ell?" I frowned, looking over at her to see her reaction. I'm praying she will just let it slide.

"Fell? Oh my God Katie your such a cluss," she shuck her head, holding her hand over her mouth to stop from giggling.

"Katie detention after school," I frowned, but I kept my mouth shut, knowing I'll only make it worse.

So I slam my head down on the desk, already exhausted, and it's only the first lesson.

Kill me...
