Just "FRIENDS"

Chapter 12

Jungkook and Taehyung were in front of their house, none of them wanted to open the door because they knew what will happen if they did
Namjoon will scold them, that was the best scenario if he'll only scold them, but that was not what was going to happen

Taehyung slowly opened the door and pushed himself to walk in, Jungkook followed him inside
The house was silent, they walked until they saw Namjoon waiting for them at the kitchen table

"Hyung I can explain-"
"Both of you sit down, I don't wanna hear any excuses"
They sat down on the chairs that was the opposite side of the table so that they can face Namjoon

"I trusted you Taehyung, I really thought that you'll go to your appointment, but it looks like you don't care about your health"
"I'm sorry, but hyung I'm fine! I told you I don't need it anymore"
"Taehyung how many times do I have to tell you that your doing the blood test! Is that hard for you to understand?"

After Namjoon was finished talking he got up and walked out of the room, he came back shortly with a phone which he handed to Jungkook
"Call you're mom, tell her what you did this morning and the fight at school"

"But I-"
"No Jungkook! call her, it's your mom why is it so difficult for you to talk to her"
After that he searched for his mother contact and pressed on her number to start the call with trembling fingers

"Hello? Namjoon is that you, why are you calling me at this hour? did something happen?"
"Sorry for calling you at this hour but Jungkook has something to tell you"
"Okay, tell me Kookie what is it?"

He took a deep breath before answering his mother
"I called to inform you that I got angry with Namjoon this morning and I was swearing at him, and after that I got into a fight at school"

"What? Jungkook are you out of your mind, tell me you're joking!"
Jungkook looked down at his hand while listening to his mother scold him
"Apologize right now to Namjoon for swearing!"

"I'm sorry" he said slowly
He was close to crying
"That's not the apology that I want to hear, apologize to Namjoon properly"

"H-Hyung I-I'm sorry I cursed at you this morning, I should've have respected you and listen to you, I promise I won't do it again please forgive me hyung"
Jungkook said to him while looking down in shame

"It's okay Kook, I already accepted your apology this morning, but what I wanted you to do was to talk to your mother about the fight at the school"
"I hope you grounded him Namjoon"

"He is grounded, and he'll have detention for a week at school"
"Good, is that all you have to tell me?"
Namjoon looked at Taehyung and sighed

"I have a hard time convincing Tae to go to the doctor"
"Why does he have to go, is he sick?"
"Just for a blood test, but he'll do anything possible to not go"

"Taehyung if you don't go tomorrow to get it done, I'll come and do the blood test on you, do you understand?"
"Yes mom" he said looking at Namjoon

After that they talked about school and how they need to behave because Namjoon was not their babysitter, he was their guardian, he was their friend and family

"Now that we talked about that, can you guys tell me where you've been? I called you 27 times and none of you answered the phone"
"We just went out to eat"

Namjoon was about to let them be but he noticed a plastic wrapped on Jungkook wrist
"Show me your hand"
Jungkook slowly give his other arm to Namjoon to see, the one without the tattoo

Namjoon sighed and took a hold of the tattooed boys wrist and unwrapped the plastic to see the tattoo
After seeing it he looked at Taehyung and searched for the same plastic wrapped just to see it on the same place Jungkook had it, on his wrist

"Taehyung did you sign the papers for him?"
He didn't say anything, just looked at Jungkook to see his reaction
"Answer me!!!"
"I did! I signed the papers for me and Jungkook to get the tattoo, and it's none of you're business because it's not you're body!"

"You're getting that removed! and Jungkook too"
"No I'm not!!!"
"You don't get to tell me what to do!" Taehyung screamed at him
"You're just like you're mother and father! Strict with us and abusive-" he didn't get to finish his sentence when he felt his cheek stinging with pain

Namjoon slapped him, the spot on Taehyung cheek started getting red from the slap
It was the first time Namjoon have slapped him

"Abusive?" he laughed at Taehyung even though his eyes were getting filled with tears
"This is the first time I slapped you, and I'm abusive?"
"First of all you're getting that removed and I expect you to be ready at 8 am tomorrow to go to the doctor"

"And I don't care that you're missing an hour of class because I know you don't have any important subject"
" Now go to your room and study for tomorrow"

With that being said Tae run out of the kitchen to his bedroom, he looked himself in the bathroom and hugged his knees to his chest while tears were starting to feel from his eyes

He placed his hand on his red cheek, he could feel the heat radiating from it, it hurt
It was not the first time he got slapped but each time it hurt

Now that he thought about it, he felt sorry for saying that to Namjoon, he could see the tears in the older eyes, and that was a sign that he hurt him with his words because Namjoon rarely cried
Taehyung knew he fucked up this time

While Tae was in the bathroom, Jungkook apologized to Namjoon and told him it was his fault
He told him that he convinced Taehyung to sign the papers and Namjoon defeated agree with him to let them keep the tattoo

Jungkook helped Namjoon to prepare the kitchen table for their late dinner, they ordered pizza because Namjoon waited and didn't eat dinner without them

After a few minutes the order was delivered and they placed the slices in three plates equally
"Can you go get Tae?"
"Sure hyung! I'll go get him"

He walked up to their shared bedroom only to find it empty, he looked around a few seconds before going to knock on the bathroom door

"Tae are you in there?" he didn't respond
"Are you okay, can I come in?"
After a few minutes of silence he tried to open the door only to find out it was looked
