True Defeat

The stadium was swarmed with the cheers of the audience. Although many had their own concerns of allowing the murderer to participate in the final match

"Are you sure that this is a good idea? Black might actually kill Bakugou this time" Snipe asked. 13 simply waved her co workers off

"Don't worry Snipe, I'm confident that Black wouldn't do anything too aggressive. Besides, we have both the healing quirks of Recovery Girl and Black" 13 said before Present Mic began with his announcements

"This is the battle of the UA sports festival! This match will decided who stands at the top of the first year. In other words, it's the final match!" Present Mic said, the screen displayed the two challengers in a battle setting

"Black, from the hero course"

"Versus"

"Bakugou Katsuki also from the hero course" Present Mic said, Black looked at his opponent with anticipation

"Being the villain of a hero school is quite exhilarating, I will relish this battle" Black commented, Bakugou merely scoffed at his opponents politeness

"It's starts now!" Present Mic said

Black immediately created his set of tendrils as Bakugou was rushing head first into Black with the propulsion of his explosions. Black held a tendril on the floor, manipulating the concrete arena to ensnare Bakugou's foot in cement. Once ensnared, Black released a flurry of flame towards him. Some recognised the fire to be the flames of Todoroki from his previous match

"Urgh!" Bakugou held the pain within him, persisting through the pain with only a single grunt. The fire of the son of Endeavour burned the pomeranians skin, slightly charring Bakugou in the process

"When the hell did Black have a fire manipulation quirk? Just how many quirks does this guy have?!" Ectoplasm exclaimed, his question however came from his side

"It's just a theory but I think he gained it from Todoroki, Endeavours son. To be able to copy whatever quirk you want sure is a scary quirk, but there has to be a limit to it" Snipe answered, many shivered at the potential of such a powerful quirk

Despite being burned alive, Bakugou survived the fire. With a heavy breath he stood proudly recuperating from the blast. His ego only enlarged at the attack and thus he taunted

"Hah! You really think that pathetic attack is going to keep me down VILLAIN!?" Bakugou yelled, whilst lightly rubbing the burns on his arms. Prideful determination was clearly visible through his eyes. Despite knowing of the danger Black posed his pride couldn't show weakness, especially at an event of this scale

Black however had no intention of allowing such a thing and without hesitation he materialised a hand gun, shooting the palm of Bakugou's right hand

"What?! He can make guns!" Snipe exclaimed, 13 looked surprised at his co workers reaction

"Of course he can. If he can create knives then he can create guns as well. And it looks like he can be a very good shot as well" 13 said, Ectoplasm on the other hand had other thoughts

"So this whole time Black could just have pulled a gun on us? More safety precautions are to be in order then" A slightly angered 13 furrowed her hidden eyebrows at Ectoplasm

"AGH!" Bakugou exclaimed, blood coated the floor as he took several steps backwards. His breath deepened the longer the fight went on as Black began walking towards him with his gun in hand. Despite his pain, Bakugou pushed through by propelling himself before Black could take the shot. Making Black waste ammo by turning himself as hard of a target as possible. Although none would have thought of Black having infinite ammo, but it seemed like a good solution at the time. Black however never intended on using his gun again. With his eyes on Black he managed to get a glimpse of a tendril touching the ground, this was foreshadowing of the following events to come
