Chapter 2: Just Roommates

Luz POV:

(It's been a few months since last chapter)

"Oh Mija! I'll miss you so much. You better visit me" my Mum (or Mom) held me tight. "I'll miss you too mamá but I can't breathe" I quietly held my breath "ah sorry Mija estás creciendo demasiado rápido!" (I'm sorry if it's wrong I only use Google translate) she let go of me as I walked to the front door with my bags.

Today is the day I move out of my mums (or mom) house. The day I have a dorm. And it's the day I meet my roommate. '153, 154, 155!' I thought as I inserted the key in the lock. The door opened and I walked in. There was nothing really in the room I was in just 2 beds and clothes, I guess my roommate is all ready here. I unpacked my bags and headed to the kitchen. 

I sat down, pulled out my phone and went to amity's contacts.

Otter with a dark side: hey princess 

Mint chocolate chip: hi Luz

Otter with a dark side: I never asked but what school do you go to?

Mint chocolate chip: Hexside, may I ask why?

Otter with a dark side: Really? Weird I never saw you there

Otter with a dark side: anyways I go there too, do you know who's your roommate?

Mint chocolate chip: no but I think my stupid roommate just got here brb

Otter with a dark side: Take your time princess ;)

I smiled at the text. Moments later I heard noises from the bathroom and I saw Amity! "Hey princess looks like I'm your stupid roommate" she raised an eyebrow but then realised it was me. She went and sat on her bed "yeah i guess so" she smiled at her phone. I heard a buzz on my phone.

Mint chocolate chip: nvm I just found out my roommate is hot like super hot

I looked up with a confused face to see the blight smirking at me. I blushed slightly but Amity noticed. She came over "Awwe Nocceda are you blushing?" She leaned over. I was startled by the flirty blight but I can't help but like it.

No Luz we're just friends she's just joking.. right?

I thought as I unpacked. I can't ruined this friendship because of some feelings that don't even exist! She came up and hugged me behind me.

 "Amity! I'm unpacking right now" I said while putting some clothes on my bed. "Well you can do that later, you don't have a lot of clothes anyways" she looked over my shoulder.

 "Did you just moved here? I never saw you" I asked out of curiosity "yeah, I just moved to this school" she hugged me tighter.

 "Do you want to watch a movie then? Since your not letting me unpack" I sighed. "Yeah what type?" She asked "hmm how do you feel about horror movies?" I suggested "but I get scared easily" she hugged me even tighter. "Well I can be your fearless champion!" I joked.

 Amity laughed "yeah ok fine" she agreed "okay let me get my laptop and watch the scariest movie we can find!" She let go of me while I dug into my backpack there was my laptop. 

There was a bisexual flag stickers, some otters and an owl. "Okay blight the scariest movie on here I think it's called 'Megan?' (I didn't watch it yet but it sounds good) so do we have popcorn yet or do we need to go shopping?" I prepared for the movie "nah I have a stash of snacks and popcorn anyways" she answered.

Once I settled down I took off my red beanie. I felt Amity snuggled up to me and put her head on my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around her pulling her closer and also rested my head on top of hers. When we finally finished the movie Amity was so scared that she couldn't sleep by herself so she insisted that I stay with her. 

I sighed and agreed as I laid down on her bed. We faced each other because amity wanted me to 'watch her so the robots don't get her' but I found it as an excuse to stare at her. She looked beautiful with her hair down "do you want to talk? To keep you relaxed" I asked. She nodded "hmm okay blight why are you so scared of horror stuff?" I questioned "uh I don't really know, maybe because I'm jumpy?" She explained.

While we were talking about how Otters are the best animal it suddenly it started raining and even thundering! I looked over to see Amity shaking out of fear. I came over to her side to pull her to a tight hug. "Shhh it's okay, breathe" I said quietly, I played with her mint green hair as she slowly calmed down.

"Luz" amity said looking up "hm?" "Well I was just wondering why would you want to be friends with me? I mean I was really rude to you" "well yeah you were quite rude to me but everyone has a soft spot even you!" I exclaimed (quietly).

BANG!

The storm was getting louder. Amity eyes wide open was scared to death but I reassured her that everything was going to be okay. It was kind of funny seeing the 'person who was gonna ruin my reputation getting startled by thunder'. 

It was cute to be honest. "Amity you look beautiful in this lighting" I said while trying to stay awake. Her face heated up (like a 🍅) "t-thank you Luz, you not s-so bad yourself" she stuttered. 

I think she's still scared about the thunder otherwise why else would she be stuttering?

"My fearless champion~" she stroke my short hair while drifting off to sleep.

WOOO ANOTHER CHAPTER! I hope you guys liked this one I added a bit more Lumity to this. Also please give feedback if you can! Just started the school year so I might be busy with school stuff so don't expect a lot of chapters in a few days.
