A History of the War and the Cataclysm

One thousand years ago, there was a great world war that devastated the nations, as all wars do. However, this one left an indelible mark that even the most devastating of nuclear blast could ever hope to produce. 

The war used engineered bacteria as bombs which was meant to cause all humans in the vicinity to disintegrate into bursts of harmless light. However, the bomb didn't have that effect on all humans, and the bacteria did not stay in the regions that were hit, but of course dispersed in wide areas because some humans, instead of disintegrating, carried the bacteria all over the world, infecting every inch of it. These humans possessed an immunity to the particular engineered bacteria, as is usually the case when man plots evil. Faluel is always there to regain balance. Faluel's will is something the warmongers had not considered. 

Still others who came into contact with the bacteria had a flu virus within them already that reacted with the bacteria in unanticipated ways. The flu virus favored the bacteria, attaching to it in order to feed on it, and the bacteria, having survival fail safes engineered in, created crystalline structures that were meant to keep the threat of the virus out. The crystalline structures anchored on the heart muscles, which was the target of the bacteria, and the hearts became the magicores. Interestingly, the activities of the engineered bacteria allowed the heart to still function, as the fail safes needed to keep the bacteria with enough oxygen to live. So, the bacteria, in effect, became part of the heart, and the DNA of the bacteria merged with the DNA of the host.

Eventually, all humans had this crystalline heart and with the energy that the bacteria was meant to create to disintegrate their hosts, humans gained a greater potential for more endurance, strength, and brainpower. They also attained longer lifespans as the bacteria never lost its function to want to survive. The human lifespan increased from a maximum of 120 years to 160 years, and sometimes greater. The oldest living human on record died at 300 years old in Calasha. 

Not only did humans gain extra attributes, but many animals and other living organisms also were affected. Many plants began to grow at exponential rates and a number of animals expanded in size and strength. The rat disaster of 650 EOW (end of war), tells the tale of dog sized rats that terrorized the ancient country of Australia. This was but one of the disasters that befell the world with the changes that the bacteria wrought. 

The world thought this was the worst of it, but more wars angered Faluel, and he sent his retribution on the earth in the form of a building sized meteor. 

It shouldn't have been a problem. No, such a meteor was rather insignificant if it hit the oceans. The ancients were not overly worried when it hit the ocean near China. 

However, the meteor was not a typical mass of rock and metal. No, this meteor was something greater. 

The cataclysm created a broad flash of energy mostly mitigated by the water, but enough to excite the bacteria in the remaining life on the earth. The crystalline heart structures absorbed the energy and held it.

The waters of the earth were excited as well. One water molecule split into two, then three, then four. The sea levels eventually rose eight hundred feet before the multiplying mysteriously stopped. Continents were mostly buried and many lives were lost.  Species went extinct, and the food supply was cut in thirds. 

Besides causing the near extinction of the earth, this energy created a mass evolution of many creatures - some becoming the magical beasts of the future. Humans kept their outer structures for the most part, but they became more. Some humans became monstrous, and the population fought to destroy them. Some managed to escape to the wastes of what was once Antartica, the only land that could be considered a continent. 

But for the many humans, their cores activated, and they gained powers as the crystalline structure adapted the new energy into uses for the body. There were some that had no change, except for the fact that their cores had potential energy within them that could be put to use once they died. We needed a means to rebuild, and our Faluel provided the magicores of those that passed on to rebuild our nation. 

Sadly after the cataclysm, the world turned into island states with the Sanfelton having what is left of Canada, the US, Mexico, and South America, and the Beltrit having what was left of China, Mongolia, Russia, and Turkey.

We fight against these heathens and their pagan god Tav to gain supreme control for the glory of Faluel.  One day we will have complete control of the world, including the nation of Calasha which controls what is left of Greenland, and Aluraparine  which controls what is left of Africa. Once Beltrit is gone, all the nations shall bow. Then, we will finally have no war - only the peace of a world that loves only Faluel.

It is the will of Faluel.
