"Sheett, ang freetea namarn foee!" Raign said as she saw me walking towards them.

"Oh, bless!" Gwin said.

Tumawa lang ako. "'Di pa po ako 70+, auntie, opo," I said and they laugh.

"Hi po, tito and tita," Gwin said when she notices my parents behind me. She look bit suprise and started to feel uneasy.

My dad nodded at her and my mom smiles widely.

"You must be Gwin if I'm not mistaken?" My mom asked and Gwin nodded her head. "And you're Raign?"

"Very very much correct po, tita," sagot ni Raign and ngumiti. Tumawa si mom.

"Your friends are fun, Gab," my mom said. "So, me and your dad will be there, alright? Just come to us or text me if you need anything."

Mom is kinda social butterfly because she immediately just made a friend when someone's parents while my dad was just with his poker face.

I just shrug. "All these highschool life of us ay palagi silang absent, nakakapanibago lang."

"Trueness, auntie!" Raign agreed. "Akala ko kasi hindi naman sila pupunta. No offense, akala ko lang."

I just simply smiled and took a sit. I always believe that we should never focus on our past because our past was once our present so instead of regretting the yesterday, why not correcting it at the present?

I was mumbling my speech the whole ceremony bago ko narinig ang pangalan ko na nalawag at inannounce na ako ay isang with highest honor. The heard the audience loud applause and I took a deep breath before I started my speech. I started it with a smile.

"In elementary I was always rank first over everyone which make expectations high for me. I thought I was living my life like others people said. Not until I woken up one day, I wasn't living a life, I was living in a hell. It has full of breakdowns and misunderstanding and I was so... Dark place on myself..." I pause to took a deep breath. "But right now I started to rise again. With new beginning. My only goal from then and today was to be first and I always workhard for it but when I failed, I always doubt myself if I really did my best? But right now, I have no regrets because I know that I did my best just to conquer whatever my goal is and I never give up even though I feel like my whole world is messier than you thought. I keep fighting and fighting. Yes, I get tired but I never quit, I never learn to quit. I learn to rest, to get more energy to fight for another challenge in my life so I guess I survived. I survived my highschool life today and that's the greatest lesson I ever learn as a high achiever student. Never give up, just learn to rest."

I heard the crowd applause and I just smile before getting off the stage.

"Congratulation, Gab. I love you always," Gwin said while caressing my back. I secretly smile and also hug them back.

"Have you seen Yahwi around?" Tanong ko sa kanila pagkatapos namin magyakapan. Raign just showed her suspicious look. "Can you stop that?"

"The what?" She chuckled. "Alam mo, sis? Parang tanga kayo both. Ano ba talagang meron? May spark spark keneme na ba or lowkey lowkey lang kayo?"
