13 || Judge & Executioner

"I do sometimes. I have more space to keep documents here, and all my men are here during the day so when I need them, they come as soon as I call their name." I explain

She hums in understatement. "And I bet its nice to just have your home, just be your home." She adds.

"How much do you you know about running a mafia?" I ask her as I open the door to my office. She goes in to detail about what she knows and I do have to say, it's a lot. She's an intelligent girl.

I sit myself on my office chair and power up my computer while Aurora looks around.

After awhile Aurora sits herself on my couch and busies herself with her phone while I work.

"Why you'd bring me here for me just to sit on the couch, which I've could've done at home." She complains.

"Is it so bad that I wanted to spend the day with my girl?"

She laughs. "Cute, but that's not the reason." Smart girl. "Tell me what you need, Matteo." You.

I sigh, giving up. "It's easier to keep you safe if you're with me."

She furrows her brows. "Why won't be safe at home? Did you forget about the fucking army that guards it?" I shake my head not finding the words to explain the crippling anxiety I have. I just have a fucking feeling something bad is gonna happen, to her. And I will do everything in my power to prevent that.

"Matteo.. what's going on?" Aurora sits up, alarmed. "My father's dead.. right?"

My eyes snap to hers. "Yes. Yes, he's dead, baby. it's nothing really." She gives me the "I don't believe you" look.

"Come here." I pat my thigh. She gives a look then slowly makes her way to me. I pulled her onto my lap so she straddles me.

"I'm sorry for worrying you but really everything is just fine." I tuck a piece of hair behind her ear. She mutters a quiet "okay." and rests her head on my chest.

Anyone can clearly see the fear Aurora has for her father. It makes my blood run cold and rage fill every inch of my body.

"Were you planning on fucking me in your office?" Aurora whispers in my ear.

I chuckle and slap her ass. "No."

But she doesn't let it go. "Will you fuck me in your office?"

I fight to keep the smile off my face. "Yes but not today."

She makes a sound of frustration. "What if I fuck you in-" She's cut off by a knock at my door that makes her jump.

"Yes?" I call out. Aurora seems to be scared for someone to walk in but my men have orders not to walk in unless I give permission.

"Jay needs you in A14."

"Tell him I'll be there in a minute." I run my hands over my face in frustration.

"What's A14?" Aurora asks me with furrowed brows.

"My hacking room." I stand up and walk up to her. Cupping her face, I kiss her. "Go home and wait for me. If you're a good girl, you might just get what you wait." She scoffs.
