Maya's POV
"you sure you feel good?" I asked after getting showered and she nodded "yeah I don't believe that" I chuckled
"I'm good mom" she said
"okay" I nodded "want to catch a movie?" I asked and she nodded as I got into bed next to her
"do you want me to get you more ice?" I asked and she shook her head
"mom you and mama are just making a huge deal out of this just cause Grace can't keep her mouth shut" she said
"Alex you and Gracie are sisters you can't talk to eachother like that" I said "and she was right in telling us"
"I do try to talk to her nicely and be nice to her but she can be very difficult some times" she said
"Alex just because you and her are different that doesn't mean she is difficult" I said
Carina's POV
After watching the sunset we went up to our rooms and found Maya and Alex watching a movie, Alex fast asleep on the bed.
"hey" said Maya from the bed "how did it go?" I asked
"very nice" smiled Gracie
"How's the bambina doing?" I asked getting closer and Maya shrugged
"you know how she is" she shrugged and I nodded as I made my way to our bathroom to get showered
I came back to find Alex and Gracie both fast asleep on our bed as Maya watched some TV
"This is new" I smiled as I saw both sleeping and Maya chuckled
"Definitely new" she said smiling "seems like the water really exhausted them"
"Do you want to go for dinner either way?" I asked
"Yeah we should" she said as she got up "I'll go get changed"
Maya's POV
"You look gorgeous" I said as Carina walked out of the room in a blue dress
"Thank you Bella" she said as she pecked my lips
"Ready?" I asked and she nodded and we made our way to the restaurant where we had our reservation
"This looks amazing Bella" She said as we sat down and ordered a bottle of wine
"Gotta say I missed this" I said sipping my wine
"Being alone?" She chuckled and I nodded
"I love the girls but boy I need this time to time" I smiled
"Yeah well I can't disagree there" she said as our food arrived and we started eating
"You know I can't still acknowledge they're turning 17 this year" I said
"I miss them being babies tho" said Carina
"I don't miss the diaper, non sleeping night part" I smiled
"Toddler era" she said
"Love how they were even so different back then" I smiled
"Very" she said "and they still are"
We enjoyed our dinner until around midnight when we headed down to the beach for a little walk making our way back to the hotel room to find Alex sleeping in their room whilst Gracie watching TV in ours
"Hey" she smiled "how did dinner go?"
"Hey honey" I smiled as I took off my heels "it was really nice"
