CHAPTER FOURTEEN

KEECIA

Caine Adlai de Laurentis is officially my boyfriend.

That's right. The great Caine de Laurentis is mine. I still can't believe it, but we are a couple now. I am so deeply in love with this beautiful man and just the thought of being with him makes me so happy. 

Pakiramdam ko ay para akong nasa panaginip... all of it is just too good to be true. Pero bigla kong maririnig ang boses niya o di kaya'y mararamdaman ang bawat haplos at hawak niya at marerealize kong... 'Oo nga, totoo nga to. Hindi ako nananaginip lang.'

"Oh my God," I gasped. "You have such a beautiful home."

Caine tilted his head and grinned at me, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "Yeah, so goddamn beautiful."

Umarko ang kilay ko sakaniya. "You realize I'm not talking about me, right?"

He chuckled and pulled me closer by the waist. "You're my home, baby. My home is wherever you are." He said, then he kissed me softly on the lips.

I smiled as my cheeks turned into a bright crimson red. Hinampas ko rin ng mahina ang braso niya. "I'm serious, Caine! Your place is so beautiful. You didn't tell me you live in a penthouse!"

First time kong makarating sa condo ni Caine and I can't believe what I'm seeing. Sure, I knew he is rich, but seeing it with my own eyes still feels so surreal. We just had our date night and he decided to show me his condo since around Rockwell lang din ang restaurant na pinagkainan namin. And holy cow, I wasn't expecting a goddamn penthouse.

"You speak as if you don't live in a mansion." Caine mocked me.

Sinimangutan ko siya. "Pag-aari ng mga magulang ko iyon. Hindi akin! Walang binatbat dito yung condo ko sa Manila, no!"

"Well, if you like my place so much, why don't you just move in here?"

Pinanlakihan ko siya ng mata. "Woah, we're getting way too far ahead there. Can you calm down? Isang linggo palang tayong mag-jowa, gusto mo na agad akong ibahay?"

"Wala naman sa tagal yon. As long as we're comfortable around each other, why not?" He shrugged. "Besides, I love being around you. I'll just miss you when you're not here. And you'll make this place livelier."

"As much as I want to, you know my parents won't be happy about it. You know their rule—"

"Marriage comes first, right." He sighed.

Natawa ako at tinapik ang kaniyang ulo. "Now, now, don't be sad. Stop sulking. Why don't you just show me around instead?"

Tumango siya at kinuha ang kamay ko. Boyfriend ko na siya pero may kung anong enerhiya pa rin akong nararamdaman tuwing ipinagsasalikop niya ang mga daliri namin.
