-3rd Person-
A argument between Ron and Hermione occurred which left Hermione upset and angry. She sent both Ron and Harry off to bed before breaking down crying. On their way to Gryffindor tower they came across Vega who had fallen asleep with her head resting on the rails.
"Oh, here's the other one." Ron huffed
"Shut up Ron." Harry grumbled. Without debating Harry slid his arms under her and lifted her up. she briefly woke wrapping her arms around him and resting on her shoulder.
"What are you doing?" Ron questioned
"I'm not exactly going to leave her asleep on the stairs, am I? Come on." he carried her off and from afar cedric watched them shaking his head. He had seen the glances they had given each other through the night. He thought he could make something out of it, but she was already taken and he just had to give this one up. He did however get talking with Cho Chang and dance with her for the rest of the night.
Harry climbed the stairs into the girls dormitories and laid Vega out on her bed, her hair had come out of the small braid she made to keep it out of her face and he pushed it back. She briefly woke up.
"I don't like him like that you know." she mumbled in her sleepy state "not like you." she fell back asleep and turned over. he smiled for a moment and left without a word for his own dorm, where when he fell asleep he had another nightmare about Voldemort and woke up in a sweat just as Neville in.
-Vega-
Another term began and Harry still wasn't any closer to figuring out the second clue. He, Hermione and I stood on the bridge.
"Harry you told us you figured out the egg weeks ago. The task is two days from now!" I vented at the fact that he had lied to us
"Really? I had no idea." he grumbled "I suppose Viktor or Cedric's already figured it out." I roll my eyes
"Cedric and I haven't really spoken since the ball." I retorted, after that night i had avoid him and pretend as if the conversation hadn't happened. I thought it was going quite well.
"Wouldn't know. We don't actually talk about the tournament. Actually we don't really talk at all. Viktor's more of a physical being." I oohed jokingly "I just mean he's not particularly loquacious. Mostly he watches me study, it's quite annoying actually."
"Then tell him to buzz off. Duh." they laugh "Harry you are trying to figure this out aren't you?"
"What's that supposed to mean?" he retorted making me sigh
"All she's saying is that these tasks are designed to test you in the most brutal way." Hermonie cut in then I took back over
"They're almost cruel. And I'm scared for you, we both are. You got by the dragons mainly on your nerve. We're scared that it won't be enough this time." I voiced our concern
"Hey, Potter." we hear Cedric and Harry goes to leave "Potter!" Cedric calls giving me a passing glance and speaks to him
"You never said what happened between the two of you. Last time I saw you were having a great time." she voiced
"Harry, Happened." she ahed and dropped the subject. He then left giving me a nod and returning to his friends

He had finally figured out the egg. Harry with a little help from Cedric and Myrtle figured out the egg needed to be in water and then he heard the riddle.
"Tell me again." Hermione insisted. We had been in the library for hours trying to figure out the rest of the clue. Even i was bored, Ron was actually asleep.
"Come seek us where the voices sound." he recited
"The black lake obviously." I commented a Hermione woke up Ron.
"A hour long you have to look." he continued
"Again obvious." Hermione sighed "Though admittedly, potentially problematic." she added
"Potentially problematic? When's the last time you held your head underwater for a hour Hermione?" he snapped at her
"Harry, we can do this, you have the three of us us and we've got through worse." I assure him
"Hate to break up the skull session. But Professor McGonagall would like to see you in her office." Moody interrupted and Harry got up "Not you Potter just Granger and Malfoy ."
"But sir, the second task is hours away and..." he cut me off
"Exactly. Presumably Potter is well prepared by now and could do with a good nights sleep. Go now!" I huff out a breath and leave with Hermione. When we reached Professor M's office, Gabrielle and Cho Chang were waiting.
"Have we missed something?" I ask gesturing to the two of us
"Not at all, please sit." we did so "Now the four of you are here because each of you is vital to the second task. Our Champions essentially have to search the black lake for their hidden treasure. Now before you ask that treasure is you. Miss Delacour, your sister, Miss Chang, Cedric Diggory, Miss Granger for Mr Krum and Miss Malfoy for Mr Potter." she explained pouring us tea and handing it to us. I took a sip
" We will put you in suspended animation, you'll fall asleep but be un affected by being in the water, when you come to the surface you'll wake back up and must be prepared to swim with your champion."
"When do we..." I fell into blackness.
