P.S. This is a year after the events of the "The Mirror". FYI, the original fic actually didn't have a sequel so I was about to disappoint a commenter when he/she asked about a part 2. Luckily for y'all, I found a fic that I could tie to "The Mirror" so enjoy...

Minatozaki Sana always seems to get stuck with the loser jobs. Why is it that she has to go find Nayeon? The older girl had already said that she was feeling ill after the Quidditch game. She had caught the snitch to defeat Hufflepuff (Sana's own house), of course, but even Momo had noticed she wasn't quite "with it". 

Hogwarts now allows students to hold victory parties at Hogsmeade after a Quidditch match as long as Prefects or professors were around to watch over them and make sure they don't get too rowdy. There was also a curfew system in place so they would have to return to Hogwarts by midnight but just the idea of being able to party was enough for the student body so there were no complaints there.

So when Slytherin's victory party started in Hog's Head and every single one of her friends was unavailable or otherwise occupied, guess who was left to check up on Nayeon. 

She was.

Jihyo and Momo were already getting loaded off of butterbeer (and some firewhiskey that was snuck in by a Gryffindor), Mina had already disappeared to the library to avoid the chaos, Jeongyeon was nowhere to be seen (which was odd since she'd usually be up to partying), Dahyun was busy encouraging Momo and Jihyo to chug their liquor, and Chaeyoung and Tzuyu were there to keep the older girls in check since they were still underage and Jihyo wouldn't allow them to drink. 

Sana quietly opened the entrance after whispering "Nayeon is the best" to the portrait who is guarding the Head Girl's dorm (Nayeon shared that password to the whole group so they could hang out in her private room), just in case Nayeon is already asleep and is surprised when she isn't in there.

Im Nayeon lied? And why would she want to miss out on her own party? Sana thinks to herself.

Nayeon's room is so much bigger than the one Sana shared with Momo and Dahyun. Her closet, which is right next to the entrance, is slightly open and inside, Sana can see Nayeon's prized broomstick: the Thunderbolt 2030.

The Thunderbolt's design had come a long way since Thunderbolt VII back in 2014. Back then, critics had said manufacturers valued speed over safety when, in a Quidditch match between Nigeria and Japan, one player's broom was destroyed by a Bludger. This sparked controversy as all professional broomsticks are supposed to withstand Bludgers so the company that manufactures the Thunderbolt was almost shut down. It took over a decade for the Thunderbolt to become a worthy competitor for the Firebolt again but this time, the Thunderbolt had come out on top. At least five professional Quidditch teams use it as their official broomstick.

Nayeon probably spent a fortune to acquire the latest Thunderbolt model that wasn't due to be released until next month and it would be a shame if someone as clumsy as Sana would put a scratch on it but she just can't resist the urge to hold it.

God, what it would be like to be Nayeon, diving for the snitch. Reveling in the glory of the win!

Sana walks into the large closet and picks it up. If she actually tried to ride the damn thing, she'd probably end up a bloody pulp at the bottom of the field. But she could dream.

When she enters her room, Nayeon closes the closet door instinctively, locking Sana inside. Sana begins to call out in protest, but she hears Nayeon whispering something.
