𝐀 𝐫 𝐢 𝐚 𝐧 𝐚.
I slipped my feet into my sneakers, Dave grabbed his keys and we walked out. The kids were at his moms, so me and him were trying to induce my labour because I'm still very much pregnant. I'm still not due until tomorrow, but I feel like they're beyond ready at this point. My midwife said I should have given birth at the beginning of the week, but my children had other plans.
"I'm hungry." I said rubbing my belly.
"You know the deal, two laps round here and you get what you want." Dave said as we walked into the park.
"I should be getting what I want anyway." I said.
"And how you figure that out?" he asked.
"Cos I'm carrying your bigheaded babies." I mumbled.
"Leave my babies alone." he said rubbing my belly.
I was ready to sleep after the first lap around the park, we found a bench and sat down. I looked around at all the little kids running around and playing. I feel like I'm more excited about seeing who the twins look like more than anything.
"It still ain't kicked in we having twins." Dave said.
"I know, I would have thought his big ass bump would help." I said.
"How you feeling?" he asked.
"Heavy." I said making him chuckle.
"You know what I mean." he said.
"I'm fine, I feel like I'm curious more than anything right now. Like how they gonna look, what their personalities would be like, Kai and Lei's reactions." I said.
"For real...mama if at least one of em don't look like me we fighting." he said and I busted out laughing, he looked so serious.
"I'm a little worried though about how the kids will adjust." I said honestly, it's been on my mind like crazy.
"I think Kai more excited than anything. But I agree about Lei, she a mommas girl for real so she gone be mad."
After a little more walking we went back to the house to get changed and we headed off to a near by restaurant to grab some lunch. We'd been looking at different ways to induce labour, we tried exercise and herbal tea. So we was now going to try some spicy food.
"I want fries." I said.
"That ain't spicy." he said shaking his head.
"I know but I still want them." I said sitting down.
He sat down next to me and we ordered. I grabbed my phone and looked at the last few things I needed to order for the babies.
"What we looking at?" Dave said wrapping his arm around my waist.
