BAKUGO'S POV

"Morning." Midoriya said, walking into the kitchen while stretching his arms above his head. He was wearing a matching pastel purple silk pajama set. None of my previous roommates would have ever worn that, but he's nothing like my previous roommates.

"Morning." I replied, grabbing a second cup of coffee from the cupboard. "How do you take your coffee?" I asked.

"Milk or sugar is fine." He replied, taking a seat at the table.

"That's it?" I asked.

"I don't remember seeing creamer in the fridge, so yeah. I'll go buy some today." I filled both cups with coffee before walking to the cupboard by the fridge.

"I've never liked coffee creamer. I like different flavors almost every day, so I always ran out of room in the fridge. So I started buying syrups instead." I opened the cupboard and stepped to the side. He walked over to me, peering over my shoulder.

"That's so many." He said in amazement, reaching his hand in front of me to grab the one he wanted. He was shorter than me, so his head was practically on my shoulder at this point.

"Cinnamon Apple?" I questioned. "I wasn't a fan of that one." I reached up and grabbed the caramel one.

"That just means you don't have taste." He laughed. I rolled my eyes, fixing my coffee how I liked it. Coffee with my old roommates was simple. They all liked black coffee in a to-go cup, with no conversation.

"What do you have planned for the day?" He asked as he took a seat at the table.

"Not until later this evening." I shrugged. "What about you?" I took a seat at the opposite end of the table.

"I have to work the next few days, so I think I'm going to relax and unpack some more of my stuff." He shrugged. He looked so different in the morning. His usual green curls were frizzy instead of smooth and in place. It's also the first time I've seen him without lip gloss. I didn't realize how much of a difference lip gloss could make.

"Now that you have somewhere to put most of your stuff, sounds like a good way to spend your day." I replied. "Did you need anything else furniture-wise?" He took a sip of his coffee before answering.

"I think some lamps, but that's about it. I don't want to clutter the room too bad." He shrugged. "Oh, some organizers for the closet."

"Organizers?" I asked. Don't people just throw their clothes on hangers for the closet? What more organization can you have?

"Mainly for my shoes, but I like organization in there. I have a lot of clothes, shoes, and accessories. Not all clothes can be worn every season." He shrugged. I think he lost me somewhere along the way.

"They can't?" I asked. He chuckled, taking another sip of his coffee.

"Would you decorate your house with green and red for Easter?" He asked, setting the cup on the table.

"No, that would be for Christmas." I shrugged. "But you can wear any colored clothes at any time."

"If you were to decorate the apartment for Spring, what colors would you use?" He asked. I looked around my apartment and thought about what it would look like during the spring.

"White and light grey for the base with some pops of yellow or teal." I shrugged.

"What about fall?" He asked next.

"Brown, yellow, red, and orange. Darker colors." I shrugged. I turned back to him when he laughed quietly.

"So you do understand the concept, just not in fashion." He continued laughing. I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face. His laughter and smile were enough to brighten my mood. Hell, it was enough to brighten the whole damn street.
