I have read the ENTIRE series of the Selection including America and Maxon's daughter's story. Kiera Cass made me invested in her books which helped my writing style today. I give a shoutout to her for influencing me and she's one of my favorite authors. Her books made me invested in reading actual books because I am a slow reader and I like books that are easily read. I've grown up in a school system where I read hard books which made me dislike reading for most of my life. I used to HATE reading books with a burning passion because of that. Every time my parents made me read, it felt like a chore for most of the time. Now since reading the Selection series, I feel a little bit confident in my writing but still need to perfect my craft as a hobby.
But what I wanted to talk about today is that I based Danny on Maxon (Selection) because of how his appearance was described in the books and photography as another factor related to Maxon because, in the book, he enjoys taking pictures.
