Hello!

Welcome to Birmingham

This story begins after Tommy, Arthur and John return from WW1 and have settled back to life in Birmingham. It starts in 1922.

I have altered birth years to fit with the timeline - see followed;
Arthur - 1895
Tommy - 1898
Emily - 1900
John - 1902
Ada - 1905
Finn - 1910

To add some context, it is set from the perspective of Emily Roberts, a young, beautiful, aristocratic heiress who grew up alongside Thomas Shelby despite having to keep their friendship secret from higher society due to class divides.
Tommy is two years senior to Emily, however, after their mothers became close acquaintances at a local horse show, the two became inseparable, blossoming a complicated and close bond with one another.

Emily also created a tight bond with Tommy's siblings, Arthur, John and Ada. She also has earned the respect of Polly Grey, Tommy's protective aunt, and despite the class divide, has been thoroughly welcomed into the family.

However, when the Shelby brothers leave for war, Tommy and Emily's relationship is irrevocably changed. Despite efforts to send letters to one another, their communications cease, and Emily assumes the worst towards the end of 1918

Until the war ends and Tommy returns...

I will loosely be following the main plot to the Peaky Blinders series, however, events and timelines have been altered to fit this story line. There will be features of new characters such as Lord White and Matthews. Grace will have a role, however, Tommy will not be romantically in love with her. Charles and Ruby Shelby are Tommy & Emily's children...
