I made my way down the dark stairway, my phone lighting the way.

The stairs led to a dark and cold tunnel.

I know I shouldn't have but I kept going down the tunnel.
Rats cluttered around the tunnel and the tunnel led to a left.

I took the left and down a different tunnel.

This place reminded me of a sewer system.

And for a while, I thought it was.

As I kept taking left and eights I started to hear a sound.

The sound of people talking.

I followed the noise, hoping to find some sort of place.

And eventually, I did.

The final tunnel led me to a large room filled with people and other things.

Things like beds, tables, and chairs.

It seemed like these people have been living here.

The large crowd of people all glanced at me as I exited the tunnel.

A woman with short blond hair came up to me and asked "Who are you?"

"Who sent you?" the woman asked.

I could see the women have a knife behind her back.

I put my hands out and said "Nobody sent me."

"Then what are you doing here?" the woman asked.

"I've come to find a place," I said.

"What place?" the woman asked.

"Utopia," I said.

The woman put her knife into her pocket.

"How do you know about this place?" the woman asked.

"Someone sent me the coordinates and told me to find it," I explained.

"Who?" the woman asked.

"She said her name was Jessika, Jessika Härt," I explained.

The lady let out a sigh of relief.

"I'm sorry, I should've recognized you by your voice. You're Edd right?" the woman asked.

"Yes, and you are?..."

"I'm Jessika, Jessika Härt," The woman said.

"You're Jessika?" I asked.

"Yep, and this is Utopia," she said.

"A place where we are free from the world above, no Red Leader, no soldiers."

Tom's POV

That was exhausting.

I was just taught my first lesson on how to be a bodyguard.

I exited the training room with the trainer.

"Don't forget tomorrow at 7 PM is your next lesson, we'll be learning about fast reactions!" The trainer shouted as I walked away.

Tord walked into the room and smiled.

"Ah, Tom! Just the person I wanted to see!" Tord exclaimed.

"How'd your first lesson go?" Tord asked as he lit his cigar.

"I fucking hated it," I said.

"Give it some time," Tord said.

"You'll get used to it."

We started to walk back to our rooms.

"So when I was in there, I took a small break and checked the news," I said.

"Yeah, it seems everybody's keeping an eye on the news," Tord said.

"They interviewed your brother," I said.

Tord lowered his cigar and looked at me.

"They did what?" Tord asked.

"They interviewed your brother," I repeated.

"What did he say?" Tord asked.

"Well now everybody knows your name is Tord," I said.

"And they know about your suicide attempt," I said.

"I had honestly forgotten that you had tried to suffocate yourself, it just doesn't come to mind whenever I think about you," I said.

Tord gave me a weird look.

"You thinks bout about me?" Tord asked.

"Ugh, not like that," I said.

"Alright," Tord said.

...

"So how'd your training go?" Tord asked.

"Didn't you already ask that?" I said.

"Look I'm trying to make conversation here, you know, bonding," Tord said.

"Look, I know you come from Norway and shit, and this is probably a Norwegian thing, but this is not how you bond," I said.

Tord then burnt me with his cigar and put it out.

"Son of a bitch!" I screamed.

"What the fuck did you do that for?!" I yelled.

"Sorry, it's a Norwegian thing," Tord said before walking off.
