As I get to the door I start to hear him laughing I turn to look at him to see him smiling as if this was a game
"I was just kidding" he states while he puts the weapon down, I was confused as I wonder why he would joke about this
"Don't worry, you don't have to leave" he moves a little, still laughing like a little boy
"why in the world would I be scared of you when I'm going to die" why was he so happy about the fact he might die soon?
"What?" I question
"Yu-ri, you're going to stay here" she looks up at him just as confused as i am
"You're going to the 14th floor huh? you said there are little kids there"
"Yeah, that's right" what is this guy up to...
He straightened his back to make him stand proud " I'm sure you can use someone who's not at all afraid of dying" I stared at him while I think about what he is saying, then Yu-ri spoke
"No way" I could tell she was worried for him
"Well you're fired" she just looked at him "you've done well nursing this grumpy old man but it's time to come out of retirement" I looked down unable to think about what to say but he kept talking
"I want to be a superhero before I die, can you let me join you?" then I thought of it, how can an old man be this brave...
"You're just acting tough" I mention, but he frowns at my words
"What?"
I kept talking
"Don't fool yourself, no one really wants to die" he sighs
"Is rudeness one of the symptoms... of turning into a monster?" he says, sarcastically but all i could do is stare at him in disbelief
"Let me explain something to you, pretty boy, not being afraid of death and wanting to die are two different things" he smirks
"Now, I'm gonna live longer than all the rest of you kids, you'll see" his smirk turned into a big smile, knowing he has got into my head, so we begin to make our way there... with yu-ri
