After we all woke up from a late-night, we collected our things and started getting ready to look for other survivors, but then music began playing. It was kind of calming, but it was a song that would've been more likely used during a festival, celebrating what had happened to the world. But then someone started talking over the music.

"survivors, the first floor is now safe, come to the first floor, we'll be safe together... we survivors must stick together, please come down... come down here now, I said please come down-" and then it all cut off the music, and the man who was expressing in a panicking voice, but that didn't matter at the moment, what matters right now is getting everyone down to the first floor safely with all the other survivors, and possibly saving more survivors our way, regardless, the only problem was if everyone was to trust the announcement

"you can't really trust that announcement" stated han du-sik whilst looking at Ji-soo and Jae-heon as they began getting ready to leave

"are you going to be okay?" he asked, with a small motive of making them stay, Ji-soo smirked a little, acknowledging the worry that he is holding for them

"Don't worry about me, I'll be ok, we need to do something" when she stated that she would be alright, everyone turned their gazes towards Jae-heon to see how he would respond. He looked down at the shield han du-sik had made for him,

"thank you so much, may God bless you for everything you've done for us" he's right, han Du-Sik put his life in danger by putting his trust in people including myself, we could have turned out to be some maniacs who would just kill people for their food or resources, but he didn't care, he just wanted to help people out of this mess.

"I like Buddha" he responded, but once again, there was silence and nobody would talk

"we're gonna make sure to come back for you and get you all" ji-soo ensures, I don't know why she said this... it was as if she wouldn't come back at all but she obviously wanted us to have hope in her words however I couldn't bring myself to tell my thoughts, I couldn't speak up, knowing she was clearly stronger than me, physically and mentally

"don't promise me anything you can't keep" mentioned du-sik, it was as if he was reading my mind or something... but at least he could speak up

"I think, I should say farewell to you both now" the present mood in the room felt sorrowful as if many people here didn't want them to leave, and yet nobody responded to him as if everyone also believed they wouldn't come back, I looked down in disappointment until I heard something

"oh... you know, someone once said to me, even complete darkness disappears with the faintest light" I looked up, at Ji-soo, that statement sounded familiar but I just couldn't think about why it did...

"is that person still alive?" Han du-sik asks out of inquisitiveness

"I'm not sure" she chuckled, she's trying to make this dark atmosphere lighter, but this was no time for jokes... not right now anyway, but that then gave me an idea, I have the strength and I have a weapon on myself

"so uh..." I picked up my spear and put my bag on my shoulder "can I go with the two of you?" I thought it was a good idea, and I wanted to see if there were actually survivors down on the first floor... but my main goal was to make sure they will come back to save them, and if they don't, then I will do it myself.
