Chapter 40

PABLO

Time flew so fast.

First semester would be ending soon. We're done with our exams and currently completing some stuff before the semestral break.

It's also been months of our relationship and luckily, everything's going steady.

I didn't expect for it go that smoothly cause of our secondary gender but i'm happy that it was and continuously it is.

Never have I ever been experience this kind of joy. Ngayon lang.

"Ga, you done with your reports?" Ken asked.

Tumango ako. "Yeah. Naipasa ko na kanina kay Prof. Ck." I said.

"Okay Ga." he said while smiling.

I can't held myself from blushing.

His effect on me were still the same like in the beginning. It never change, nor falter. He still gives me not just butterfly in my stomach but a whole damn zoo.

Idagdag mo pa ang napili niyang endearment while calling me. 'Ga' short term for 'langga' which means 'love or beloved'.

So tell me how can I not fall deeper?

"Siyanga pala Ga, okay na ba this weekend? Sure kang ayos lang kay Nana?" tanong nito.

Dahil nga sembreak naman, we decided to spend some of our time sa place ni Nana.

"Yep. Sure naman akong matutuwa si Nana na magstay tayo dun ng ilang araw." I replied.

He nodded in response.

I miss her. I know Stell too so he'll be joining us this time.

And here comes another who's pleading to let him come along as well.

"Ken pumayag ka na. Sige na." pakiusap ni Josh.

Yep. Josh has been asking for days now to let him tag with us.

Sa akin siya nagpapaalam nung una. It was fine to me actually. I know Nana won't get mad naman for bringing my friends at her house. Baka nga matuwa pa yun eh. Though Ken instantly object.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit hindi siya pumayag, so Ken told me what was Josh's intent for coming.

Dun ko nalaman na he likes Stell pala.

Iba rin naman talaga ang appeal ng kakambal ko. Nakakadikwat kahit mas maattitude pa kesa sakin.

"Sige na bro. Para namang hindi tayo friends nyan eh." Josh said while pouting.

Hindi ko mapigilang hindi matawa.

But Ken look like he's not going to change his mind.

Kawawang Josh.

"Don't use that card to me Josh Cullen. Hindi pa rin ako papayag na sumama ka. Gagawa ka lang ng kalokohan dun." seryosong sagot naman ng isa.

I slightly shook my head.

What a pitiful man.

Nalaman ko rin pala kay Ken na may pagkapilyo talaga si Josh pagdating sa mga ganoong bagay. Well, it's quite obvious naman on how he looks and how he bring himself. Though I don't want to judge before but seems I was actually right.

"No no. I promise i'll be good. Please let me." Josh still kept on insisting while raising his right hand as if he was swearing.

Gusto ko na siyang tawanan, sa totoo lang.

But Ken remains unbothered. With a poker face look.

Stell and Josh already met for quite a few times. Kasi nga syempre, Ken and I are in a relationship. Di maiiwasan na magkita din sila.

And I must say that Josh was really charmed by Stell's aura. Ni minsan yata ay hindi nakatakas sa paningin nya ang kapatid ko sa twing magtatagpo sila.

Maybe he really likes my brother. Pero duda pa din talaga si Ken.

On the other hand naman, Stell and I talked about it. I told him that Ken's friend which is Josh has taken quite a liking to him.

And guess what he said?

"Who? Yung mukhang arogante at mayabang na kaibigan ni Ken? Kahit hindi nalang. Hindi ko siya type."

That was the exact words that he told me.

After that one time, hindi na muli namin siya napag usapan.

My brother's really picky. That's a fact. Dala yata ng pagiging strict nya when it comes to food, tumaas din ang standards niya pagdating sa pagpili ng tao. Especially when choosing who will he love.

So i'm actually sympathizing on his grieving heart kung saka sakali nga na gusto niya talaga ang kapatid ko.

Ken frown.

Handa na muling tutolan ang pagmamakaawa ni Josh.

That's when I decided to interrupt.

Hinawakan ko ang braso ni Ken at marahang umiling.

"Hayaan muna siyang sumama Ga. Ngayon lang naman." I said while smiling.

Mabilis pa sa alas kwarto ang paglapad ng ngiti ni Josh.

Ken's gaze instantly soften.

I saw a slight tint of pink shade on his cheeks.

Ang cute.

Madalang ko kasi siyang tawagin gamit ang endearment na yun. I'm still not used to it. I prefer calling him  by his name. Dun ako sanay.

Though there are times as well that I purposely used that to call him. At alam kong alam niyo kung kelan.

Syempre kapag may kailangan.

I laughed at the thought.

Well, effective naman eh.

Ken's quick to change his mood. He held my hand that was resting on his arm.

He throws Josh a glance who has a wide smile plastered on his face.

He knows Ken was about to agree.

"Fine. Pero pag may ginawa kang kalokohan, mauuna kang umuwi ng Manila, understand?"seryosong wika nito.

Josh aggresively nodded.

I laughed at the sight.

Magkaibigan lang ba talaga 'tong dalawang 'to? Mas mukha pa silang mas magkapatid kesa samin ni Stell eh.

Cute. haha.

"Salamat bro." wika nito habang tila mapupunit na pisngi sa pagngiti.

"Don't thank me. Thank Pau." sagot naman ni Ken.

Josh looked at me ang utter. "Thank you thank you." he repeatedly said.

Tumango naman ako dito bilang tugon.

Josh stood up and was about to hug me when Ken acted up fast.

"Thank you is enough. You don't have to do gestures like that." Ken scarily said. "O gusto mo na bawiin nalang namin ang pagpayag sa pagsama mo?" he threaten.

Agad namang napabalik sa pagkakaupo si Josh at kinakabahang ngumiti.

"Sabi ko nga, thank you Pablo." he nervously laughed while scratching his nape.

Iiling iling nalang ako sa mga nasaksihan.

Ken's really possessive. It's on us. A trait that is evident to every alpha. It's an animal instict to be protective with your mate.

But am I already his mate?

Pota. Kinikilig ako.
