[Hokage Office]

From the moment he stepped foot inside the village gates, Sasuke felt his body weighing heavily on him. He was tired. He wanted nothing more than to get home, have a drink, then sleep off the exhaustion.

But unfortunately, he still needed to report in twice.

"I'm glad you're back safely." Kakashi smiled at his arrival.

"Everything about the mission is in this scroll." Sasuke tossed the scroll to him which he easily caught before scanning through it.

"Ah, very good," Kakashi nodded and then lifted back his gaze. "I see you had fun," he glanced down at the raven's neck causing his face to twist into annoyance.

When Sasuke had woken that morning, he wasn't able to sneak out as he usually would. The random woman needed to be asleep for it to be successful and she was, for whatever reason, wide awake. That, however, was not what upset him the most. It was the fact that the girl wasn't random at all. They actually knew one another very well.

Karin was completely naked beside him, looking proud to be the first thing he saw in the morning.

Her hands were hugging his naked body, and that was another thing that added to his anger.

Sasuke hadn't gotten undressed at all last night which meant she pulled his clothes off while he slept. He prayed that was the only thing she did, but when he walked into the bathroom to rinse up, he noticed his neck was covered in marks that she'd made.

Yes, he planned on finding a pretty girl to take back to his room for the night, but he—as well as her—knew that she wasn't an option. Not even for a one-night stand.

Karin clung to him and complained about why he was leaving so soon. Then when she noticed he wasn't going to stay a second longer to appease her, she started accusing him of only wanting one thing from her which made his annoyance increase even higher.

That one thing was exactly what he was looking for and she knew it well, yet she sat there, without covering her nude body, playing the victim.

Now he stood before The Hokage with the hickeys she'd made on his neck, hickeys she purposely made as if to claim he was taken. It was ridiculous. He didn't want her back then and he definitely didn't want her now knowing how she'd screwed him over three years ago.

"I'm leaving," Sasuke stated as the memory only frustrated him more.

"Alright, but stop by the hospital before going home."

Sasuke instantly froze before he was able to make it out. "For what? I'm fine."

"You have a checkup that's been due for three months now."

"What's the point in—"

"All shinobi are required to do it. I want it back here before the end of the day and that is an order." Kakashi smiled, unfazed by his obvious annoyance.

Sasuke walked out even more upset than he'd already been. Once outside, he took a deep frustrated breath before heading toward the only place he could think of for help.

[Yamanaka Flower Shop]

"Sasuke..." Ino trailed off as she noticed his neck. "Well, that's a first. Usually, you like to hide your sinful acts," she teased.

"I need you to give me a checkup," Sasuke demanded, ignoring her teasing.

"Oh, honey, I'm off today." Ino turned her head back around and continued flipping through the magazine sitting in front of her.
