Sasuke stood in front of the mirror, his mind clouded with way too many unwanted thoughts. There were many things he'd done wrong in his life, many things he wished he could change or take back. Things he shouldn't have done, and also things he should have done.

One of those things being how to tie a tie.

No matter how many times he tried to get it right it wouldn't come out the way he wanted. Maybe if it didn't look so noticeably terrible, he would've just let it be, but unfortunately, it was hard not to notice even if one tried to avoid it.

Taking another look at himself, Sasuke sighed in defeat. He was standing in front of a full-body mirror inside one of the Uzumaki's guest rooms while wearing an all-black tux with a crooked tie.

Though the fabric made his skin itch a bit, he acknowledged that the outfit looked well on him.

"Even your vest and shirt are black." Naruto shook his head after letting himself inside the room. "It's not a funeral."

Might as well be.

Hinata walked into the room once she realized the raven was dressed, and when her eyes landed on him, she smiled brightly. "You look incredible, Sasuke."

"He looks alright." Naruto scoffed as he checked him out.

Sasuke's color was black. It made him look even more attractive than he already was, and the couple was well aware of it.

"I..." Sasuke started a bit awkwardly. "Could you help me with my tie?" he asked the bluenette.

Hinata answered by walking over to him and undoing his work. She explained how it was done, slowly doing every step so he could see.

"You also look nice." Sasuke complimented as he looked down at her, realizing he hadn't thanked her.

"Thank you," she patted his chest and then took a step back to inspect her work.

"I hear their wedding's a lot different from ours. Apparently, it's not the usual traditional type." Naruto mentioned while fixing his clip-on bowtie, making his teammate frown for not thinking of getting the same.

"That's why I made you two get these tuxes instead."

Which the raven was grateful for. Had Hinata not chosen his outfit, he would've surely shown up underdressed.

"Will it be like Ino and Sai's wedding then?"

"A little bit." Hinata smiled, excited for the event. "Let's hurry before we're late. I have to help Sakura with her final touches, remember?"

The couple walked out of the room, letting him know they'd be leaving in five minutes.

In merely five minutes he would be walking to the church where the woman he returned for was getting married. The woman who had loved him for as long as he could remember. The woman who he truly believed would one day be his and his alone was getting married.

And he had to sit there and watch.

His stomach twisted painfully, giving him the sudden urge to throw up at the thought of her spending the rest of her life in someone else's arms.

The mere thought of someone else holding her hand or touching her hair while she slept made him feel sick. Thinking about everything else they would do made him feel a million times worse.

Everything he felt inside was killing him and he only had himself to blame. He simply had to get over it. Had to let her go.

What's one more regret?

They walked out the door together, making their way towards the chapel. The further they walked, the tighter his chest felt. Above their heads was a clear beautiful sky and dancing around them was the nice cool breeze. It was the perfect day to get married.
