Little Things

Hey guys! I've finally decided to start my next poetry book. It's just going to be another collection of poems, the usual. I decided to call it "Little Things" because I've come to realize that all the smallest things in life make the biggest difference. I hope you enjoy my poems!

Little Things - written on 2/4/13

My head hangs in shame

I know that I'm

The only one to blame

Love is not about possession,

Love is about appreciation.

Let some sunshine into your life,

They tell me,

Fill your heart with love.

Live, love, let go

Dream a little dream

Listen to your mother and

Take a walk on the beach.

And you've made

A mistake

Remember to understand it first,

Before you let it go.

Try to be an open book,

Share your thoughts with the people you care for,

But still keep some things inside.

The little things in life

Make the biggest difference,

And complete memories.

The sun shines on my face,

As I walk along the brink of time

And live life simply,

Freely and happily;

The way it should be lived.

There is a thought to every action

A lesson in every consequence.

And in every day you must choose

How you want it to be;

You can be positive and

Keep going or

Allow the past to overcome you and

Swallow your future,

Because its the little things:

The deep inner thoughts,

The possibilities,

That make the biggest difference.
