I kept to the shadows
In the dark, I find comfort now
Hiding away from the world.

In the dark night.
Is Bruce there, should I go in?
What would I say, where to begin?
No, I best save that chat
For another day
Besides what could I
Possibly say.
Yet, I need to find out about Jake somehow.

Dragged me into the alley.
Pinned me against the wall
I couldn't hear his heartbeat at all.
A tell-tale sign a human is near
My heart filled with fear.
