When Codie wakes up, she feels much better than last night. Checking the time, she groans when she sees its noon. Figures she'd wake up late since she stayed up last night. Though it wasn't even her fault, either!

The girl makes her bed and gets dressed for the day, pulling a sweatshirt littered with realistic bees over her head. She brushes her hair as she goes into the kitchen. As soon as she does so, though, she hears Sun yell out from their room.

"Oh, oh! Is that Codie!? Good morning!! You sure slept in late!" He greets her in the kitchen as she looks back at his pure white eyes sheepishly.

"I'm sorry, were you waiting for me to wake up to come out here?"

"Yes, yes! I didn't want to wake you! Moon isn't up either so it's not like I could do much out here by myself anyhow! You two have that in common! Sleeping late!"

"Aha, I try not to make it a habit. I like to get an early start on my shopping but last night was a little rough..."

Sun's smile drops as he looks at her in concern. "Oh, are you alright?"

"I think it was just nerves," she replied. "Uh, how'd you sleep?" Codie directs the attention off of her.

"Oh, just marvelous, thanks for asking! Do you want breakfast? Or well I guess it would be lunch, now... Well? Wouldja?"

Codie startles, not expecting the sudden giddiness of the Sun in her face all of a sudden.

"Yes?"

"Perfect! How does a...hmmm," he goes quiet, a hand to his chin as he bends over to look into the fridge. "We need to go shopping..." Sun stands back up, closes the fridge, and addresses the human, "Wanna go shopping? It'd be my first time and I'd love it if you'd come with!"

How could Codie possibly say no to this literal ball of sunshine?

"Sure! Lemme grab my backpack and put on shoes." Sun squeals happily as Codie hurries and grabs her things, slipping on tennis shoes. Sun meets her at the front door but before they can leave, Codie grabs a granola bar from the cupboards, stuffing it into her purse.

The strange duo piles into Sun's car and heads to the nearest supermarket, being a Safeway.

"This is so exciting!" Sun says when they enter the store. "Do you think this is the place the pizzaplex ordered their food from?" Codie looks up at him and his spikes spin curiously.

"Probably not, Sun, big companies like the plex have a specific supplier where they get their things from. I doubt they get pizza from Safeway of all places."

As the two begin their shop, Codie having ran back to grab a cart, Codie can't help but notice many of the other shoppers and onlookers were either staring or glaring at the hulking animatronic.

She tries to ignore them but a lot are making her uneasy. Sun doesn't seem to notice, luckily. To try and take her mind and eyes off of them, she asks, "So what do you and Moon like?"

"Oh we like almost everything! I really love sour things, though! And Moon loves chocolate stuff!" Codie nods, the few things Sun has thrown in the cart making more sense now. She asks about everyday foods they should get. "Whatever you'd like, friend! I'm sure Moon and I would like what you like."

"Okay," Codie smiles, grabbing a pack of buttermilk Eggo waffles. "How 'bout these?" She smirks, wiggling the box.

"Oooh! Waffles! Yes, yes, yes!"

As she places them in the cart, a person walks by, glaring at them. The man coughs into his fist, "Freak..." Codie frowns at that and looks up to her roommate. Sun looks downtrodden, his eyes scrunched up.
