(Preparing for the fight of their lives, everyone gets their gear ready)
(Shepard is in the comms room with a holographic projection of The Illusive Man)
TIM: I wish I had more information for you, Shepard. I don't like you heading through that relay blind, but we don't have much choice
Shepard: I'm not going in alone. I've got a full team of the best with me. If we work together, we'll make it
TIM: I knew we brought you back for a reason. I've never seen a better leader. Despite the danger, it's a great opportunity. The first human to take a ship through and survive
Shepard: This isn't a field trip. I'm going to rescue the abductees, and then I'm going to destroy the collectors. To stop their attacks on humanity
TIM: Understood. But it's still very impressive. I just wanted you to know that I appreciate the risk you're taking. Regardless of your opinion of cerberus... Of me... You are a valuable asset. To all of humanity. Be careful, Shepard
(The Illusive Man cuts off his transmission, so Shepard goes up to the cockpit with Thorne and Joker)
Joker: Approaching the Omega 4 relay. Everyone stand by
Thorne: Lets make it happen
(Joker nods and chuckles)
EDI: Reaper IFF activated. Signal acknowledged
Jacob: Commander? The drive core just lit up like a christmas tree!
EDI: Drive core electrical charge at critical levels
Joker: Rerouting!
(Joker scrambles to redirect the excess energy)
(A lot of the energy goes to Galahad's room, where he's charging his helmet laser)
Galahad: Now that's what I'm talking about!
Joker: Ok, here we go!
(Joker pilots the Normandy through the Omega 4 relay, and it gets launched into hyperspace)
EDI: Brace for deceleration
(The Normandy comes out of hyperspace, but there's a bunch of debris)
Joker: Oh shit!
(Joker starts rapidly steering the Normandy away from the debris. He makes turns and twists to avoid the wreckage of over a hundred ships, weaving through it like a spaceship obstacle course. Then he pulls up as soon as he gets the opportunity)
Joker: Whew. Too close
Thorne: These must be all the ships that tried to make it through the Omega 4 relay without an IFF. Some of these look ancient
Shepard: It's like a graveyard of ships. Watch for debris
Joker: You got it
EDI: I have detected an energy signature near the edge of the accretion disk
Shepard: It has to be the collector base. Take us in for a closer look. Nice and easy
(Joker starts piloting the Normandy towards the collector base, but then a bunch of drones begin converging on it's location)
EDI: Careful, Jeff. We have company
(The drones start firing lasers at the Normandy, and they barely miss)
