(The Normandy is still docked on the citadel)
(Shepard, Thorne, and Galahad meet with Garrus at the Normandy's weapon room)
Shepard: We're here, Garrus
Thorne: What's up?
Garrus: Shepard. Thorne. Galahad. I'm glad you came by. I've got something that only you can help me with
Shepard: I'm listening
Garrus: There was a turian named Sidonis that betrayed us. He tipped off the mercs on Omega and told them where our base was. He drew me out with a false job as the mercs hit my team. They tried to hold them off...
Galahad: I was the only survivor. There were a couple of wounded, but they didn't last long
Garrus: But I've found a lead on him
Thorne: Alright, I'll bite. What's the plan?
Garrus: There's a specialist on the citadel, his name's Fade. He's an expert at helping people disappear. Sidonis was seen with him. I plan to find Sidonis and kill him
Shepard: Ok... I'm in
Galahad: What should we do when we find Fade?
Garrus: I've already arranged a meeting. We'll meet him in a warehouse near the neon markets down on the zakera ward. Thank you, Thorne. I appreciate you taking the time to help me
(Shepard, Thorne, Garrus, and Galahad all take a cab down to the wards and start walking towards the warehouse)
EDI: I've found references to a forger named Fade in c-sec crime reports. Perhaps that is a good place to start looking
(Thorne takes out his omni-tool and starts looking through some files)
Thorne: According to their files, they have no idea who Fade is. Whoever he is, he seems to be really good at avoiding c-sec. He either has someone on the inside feeding him information, or he somehow has access to their database and comm channels
Galahad: How did you do that? Not even I could hack in that fast. They've got a nasty firewall
Thorne: Planted a bug when I was in the c-sec office with Shepard and Thane. Miranda let me borrow one
(Garrus chuckles)
Garrus: Careful, loverboy. I know we're all in bed with cerberus, but you don't need to make it literal
Thorne: Careful. Your jaw might fall off if you laugh too hard
Galahad: Right here. This is the place
Garrus: The forger's thugs should be inside
(Thorne, Garrus, and Galahad walk into the warehouse and they find a group of krogans around guarding a volus who goes by the name "Fade")
Shepard: Fade? You're not quite how I imagined you
Contact: Looks can be deceiving. So, which one of you wants to disappear?
Garrus: Actually, we'd rather see you make someone re-appear
Contact: Ah... that's not the service we provide
Galahad: Make an exception. Just this once
Contact: Dammit, quick! Shoot them! Shoot them you lumbering mountains!-
(Before the krogans can even draw their guns, Shepard, Thorne, Garrus, and Galahad all draw their guns and waste them all)
Thorne: Too slow
