This morning I checked my phone and there was no missed call or message or WhatsApp message from Ashley, I found that strange so I tried calling him again and he answered
Ashley: Babe
Me: Hey, I tried calling you last night but it went straight to voicemail
Ashley: Oh, sorry I was busy, what’s up?
He sounded like he didn’t want to talk to me or wasn’t excited to talk to me
Me: Nothing, I have to go to school, talk later
Ashley: Okay take care of yourself and my baby, enjoy your day, love you
Me: Love you too
So, I went to school, after school Tumi and I went to the mall to buy the skirt and have lunch
Me: Friend the way I eat, I’m scared for my body
Tumi: Don’t forget that you are eating for two
Me: I know, I can’t wait to give birth so that I can start a diet
Tumi: How are things between you and Ashley?
Me: I don’t know hey, before calling you last night I called him first but it went to voicemail, when I woke up this morning there was no missed call or message from him so I called him and he sounded off, it’s like he didn’t want to talk to me
Tumi: Did you tell him about the baby moving though?
Me: No, I didn’t
Tumi: Friend I think you are overreacting
Me: Am I?
Tumi: I think you are, maybe he was just busy
Me: Tumi, Ashley calls me every day even if he’s busy
Tumi: I hear you but I just think there might be a good reason why he didn’t, that guy loves you
Me: I know, maybe I am overreacting
Something just didn’t feel right, it’s like Ashley is distancing himself from me and I don’t know why
