Cedricks dad walked me to our seats in the first risers, before walking down to the field where the competitors stood at the beginning of the maze.

He hugged Cedrick after Dumbledore announced the final part of the tournament.

Cedrick and Harry entered the maze first, then the two other competitors entered after a few minutes.

Cedricks father returned to his spot next to me.

"I'm so proud of my boy!" He exclaimed, as he hugged me.

"He's wonderful, you should be proud of him!" I hugged him back.

"He told me that you were talking to a boy a while ago, are you still with him? Cedrick stopped mentioning it weeks ago." His father asked me.

I looked up, and across the stands at Draco.

He stood between Crabbe, and Goyle.

The three of them cheered, and waved their hands throughout the air.

The band played their music loudly.

The memories of the times Draco and I had together, flashed in my mind.

"We were never together, I guess it didn't really work out in the end like I thought it would." I spoke softly as I looked away from Draco.

"I'm sorry, dear. I apologize for my curiosity." His father said.

A red beam shot up in the air in the middle of the maze.

Fleur appeared back at the start, she had forfeit.
She had remains of the leafy vines of the walls of the maze, wrapped around her limbs, as she stood up tall and proud.

These games are rough even too watch.

After a few minutes, another red beam shot up into the air.

Viktor Krum was returned to the start.

Viktor's body convulsed, his eyes were glazed over with a gray foggy color.

Professor Moody quickly casted a spell to reverse the curse that bewitched Viktor.

Viktor took a deep breath in, as he stood up.

He swore loudly, as he walked back to his father.

Harry and Cedrick were the only two left out in the maze to retrieve the tri-wizard cup.

I bit my nails as the tension built with every minute that passed.

After 15 minutes they appeared back.

Everyone cheered.

I looked up at Draco, and saw the stone cold look he had on his face.

Draco stood up from his chair as he took a few steps back.

Something wasn't right.

I looked back at Harry, and Cedrick.

Cedrick was laying face up on the ground.

Harry was hunched over his body, with the cup sitting next to them.

Cedrick wasn't blinking.

His chest wasn't rising, and falling with every breath.

Cedrick laid there, still as a board.

Cedrick wasn't sleeping, he was dead.

"Cedrick!" I yelled out in a blood curdling scream.

I pushed past people, trying to make my way down too the ground.

The band stopped playing. You could hear Harry's loud cries, as Moody pulled him away from Cedrick's body.

I quickly jumped over the small fence that kept the spectators in, and I ran to his body.

I fell to my knees at Cedrick's side.

Cedrick couldn't be dead.  He was my best friend.

Please don't be dead!

"Cedrick!" I cried out, as the tears flooded my face.

Cedrick didn't respond.

He laid there lifeless, as his eyes looked straight ahead.

Please! Don't be dead, please!

"Wake up! Wake up, Cedrick!" I screamed till my throat went raw.

I shook his body, hoping this was one sick dream.

"Get up, Please!" I begged, but it was no use.

I pounded my fists into the ground, feeling hard cracks in the bases of my fingers.
The skin on my knuckles split open, and blood dripped from the wounds.

"Please, just Wake up!" I begged, as my head collapsed into my arms.

I cried on Cedricks chest.

"That's my son!" Cedricks father cried out, as he ran down.

His father fell too his knees next to me.

His father took Cedrick's hand.

"That's my son, that's my boy!" He cried.

My heart shattered with every word he spoke.

My cries grew louder.

My friend was dead, he wasn't waking up.

Hagrid lifted me up into the air, off of Cedrick. My tears and blood had stained the shirt he was wearing.

"No!" I screamed out.

I flailed my arms and legs into the air, trying to get away from Hagrid's grip.

He was much to large, and strong for me to break loose.

The crowd was silent as the watched.

Some of them covered their mouths as they stared in disbelief.

"He's back!" Harry cried out, "Voldemort is back! He killed Cedrick, he wanted me to bring his body back to his dad!"

Moody dragged Harry out of the stadium, as Hagrid did the same to me.
