Girls Day Out

"Good morning mama." Taylee woke up to Josh kissing her forehead. "We're making breakfast if you want to come downstairs."

"What are we making?" she asked.

"Pancakes, your favorite."

She smiled. "Sounds good. I'll be right down." 

Taylee got up and went to the bathroom as Josh walked out. She wiped off the black residue of yesterdays mascara, put her hair in a messy bun and headed downstairs.

"You're burning them!" Sam yelled from the table.

"Well damnit Sam! I'm not an octopus! I only have two arms!" Danny yelled back. "Why don't you come help if you're so worried about it!"

Sam stood up and walked over by Danny. "Just go. Let the real chef show you how its done!"

Danny rolled his eyes and went to sit down. Josh brought over a mug and handed it to Taylee.

 "Here's your coffee beautiful." He said as he kissed her cheek.

"Thanks Joshy." She took a sip. "Wow, just how I like it! How do you know how I like my coffee?"

"You told me during one of our late night FaceTimes."

"I can't believe you remember that." She giggled. "When's the food going to be ready Sammy? I'm hungry!"

"We'd be eating now if someone hadn't burnt a batch." he said giving Danny a glare.

"Hey, I did my best!" Danny snapped back.

Taylee sat down at the table next to Hannah. "How'd you sleep Hannah?"

"Like a baby. We had the windows open and the fresh air always helps me sleep. What about you?" 

"Better than I've slept in a long time." She looked over at Josh who was in deep discussion with Jake. "What are the plans for today?" She asked.

"The boys and I are planning on doing some writing today. Its going to get pretty intense as you can see." Danny replied pointing to Jake and Josh who had started raising their voices at each other.

"I'm telling you Jake. We're not basing the whole damn album around your guitar!" 

"And I'm telling you if we make my guitar the main focus the fans will like it more!"

"Well how about you just make your own fucking album Jake!" Josh said moving closer.

"Alright." Danny said standing up and getting between them. "That's enough boys. We haven't even started yet, let's save this for later."

Hannah looked at Taylee and said, "Boys."

Taylee smiled. "Yeah, what are we going to do with them?"

"Well, since it seems like its going to be crazy around here today why don't you and I go into town and do some shopping?" Hannah asked.

"That sounds fun! Anything to avoid the fighting. Plus we'd probably just be a distraction anyway."

"Breakfast is ready!" Sam yelled bringing a tray of pancakes to the table. "Hey tweedle-dee and tweedle-dumb come help me carry this stuff to the table would ya?"

Jake and Josh rolled their eyes and started helping Sam. Taylee grabbed two pancakes, a couple pieces of bacon, and a piece of toast. 

"This is delicious, Sammy. You really are a pro." Taylee said.

"Why thank you madam." Sam replied with a bow.

When they were all done Hannah and Taylee decided to clean up.
