Taylee woke up at 10:00 a.m. the next morning with a slight headache. She thought to herself, "Was last night even real?" She got up and hopped in the shower then put her makeup on and curled her hair. She picked up her phone and texted Myah. "Are you picking me up? We should probably take a blanket and some books to read."

"Absolutely! See u soon" -Myah

Taylee smiled and took a deep breath. "I wonder if Josh will remember me?" she thought to herself.

--

Myah and Hailie pulled up and Taylee got in the car. Hailie had a hoodie and jeans on. The hood was pulled up over her head and she had sunglasses on.

"Hangover?" Taylee asked.

"Don't talk about it." Hailie grumbled.

Taylee laughed. "Maybe you should have stuck with us last night instead of making out with Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome."

They all laughed. "Shut up Taylee. At least I was okay enough to pack snacks this morning!"

"I'm so glad! I didn't even think about that!"

They parked the car in general parking and walked to the venue. There was already a short line forming but they would still get a decent spot inside, maybe even barricade. They sat on a blanket for hours and did anything they could to pass the time. Some girls behind them had brought a bracelet making kit so they all made positivity bracelets. Hailie's said "peace", Taylee's said "love" and Myah's said "unity".

The doors opened and the girls in front started charging to the barricade. Taylee, Myah, and Hailie all ran too just to keep from getting trampled. When they got to the stage there was a small empty spot on the barricade right in the middle so they took it.

"Holy-- Moly--" Hailie said out of breath. "These girls are crazy!"

"They just know what they want!" Taylee said laughing.

They met some more girls and got to know them as they waited for the concert to start. The opener was a band Taylee had never heard of before but they weren't bad. She would look them up on Spotify later and maybe add some of their songs to her playlist.

Then it was time. The white sheet was put up to cover the stage and the lights behind them came on. They could hear Jake start playing The Weight of Dreams as the curtain dropped. The girls all went wild. Josh started to sing and Taylee felt a happiness she hadn't felt in a long time. This trip may end up being the greatest trip she has ever taken!

The band played a few more songs before Taylee's favorite began to play - Age of Machine. She could feel every vibration of the music in her body. Her heart started racing and she was smiling ear to ear. Just as Josh began singing "Feeling. Oh God the feeling" she closed her eyes and felt an amazing sensation flow through her. As she opened her eyes she noticed Josh staring right at her. He pointed at her and smiled. He did remember her! As Jake played his guitar solo Josh ran over to one of the security guards and whispered something in his ear and pointed at Taylee. The security guard nodded and continued doing his job.

As Caravel began to play the security guard approached her. He motioned for her to come closer. He told her that Josh was requesting she be moved to side stage. She looked at her two friends.

"What's going on?" Myah asked.

"Josh requested me to go side stage." She turned back to the security guard. "Can they come with me?"

"I'm sorry, but no. There is very limited space there. It could only be you."

"Go Taylee." Hailie said. "It's a once in a lifetime chance. Have your fun! We will be fine!"

The security guard gave her instructions on how to get back stage. She followed them and ended up at a black door. Another security guard opened the door and escorted her to side stage where she finished watching the concert. At the end the boys said their goodbyes and started to walk off stage.

As they got closer she heard Josh tell Jake, "That's her. That's the girl I spilled my drink all over at the bar!" He ran over to her. "I was hoping you would come! I have something for you!" He grabbed her hand and guided her to a room backstage.

"Uh, Josh? We have to change." Sam said. "I'm Sam by the way. Nice to meet you."

"Right." Josh said. "Actually, can you hang out in the hall for a bit while we change? I'll come back out and get you."

"Nice to meet you too, Sam! I'm Taylee." She smiled at him. "Of course, Josh. I will wait outside."

She stood in the hall for what seemed like half an hour before Jake opened the door.

"Josh is in there looking for something. But we're all decent so you can come in." Jake said.

As Taylee walked in the room Sam and Danny were sitting on a couch drinking and smoking a cigarette. Josh was bent over in the corner looking through a bag.

"What are you looking for?" She said, startling him. She laughed. "Sorry, Jake let me in."

"I was looking for this." he said laughing as he handed her a rolled up t-shirt.

"What's this?" She said unrolling it. It was a black Beatles t-shirt with gold lettering that looked like it had been worn a lot.

"Your replacement for the shirt I ruined." he said. "Sorry it's so used. It was the only Beatles shirt I had. I've had it since high school."

"It's perfect." Taylee replied. "You really didn't have to do that. I've already accepted your apology."

"I like to make things right, Taylee. Would you want to go get a drink with us?"

"I'd love to but my friends are probably wondering where I am. I'm supposed to ride back to the hotel with them."

"Oh alright. Will you be around for a while?" he asked.

"No, I'm actually leaving tomorrow. I live in Missouri and am just here to visit with friends."

"Damn. Can I give you my number so we can stay in touch?"

"You want to give me your number? Is that even allowed?"

"Allowed?" he asked laughing. "I'm not on a tight leash around here, Taylee. I can use my phone how I please."

"I just didn't know how that worked with giving fans your number. Aren't you afraid I'll give it to everyone I know?"

"No. But even if you did I would just destroy the phone and get a new number." he said with a grin.

"Fine." She handed her phone to him and smiled as he put his number in. "I'll give you mine too. Just don't leak it, okay?" She smirked.

He smiled. "You're really funny." he said.

She walked to the door. "It was really nice meeting all of you!" she exclaimed. The rest of the boys turned their heads and waved.

"You too, Taylee! Hope to see you again!" said Sam.

"Yeah!" said Danny.

"Be safe on your way back to Missouri." Jake said. So they were as sweet as she thought.

Josh walked her to the back door as she texted Myah. "Come around the back of the venue. Black door with two flights of stairs."

She saw the car pull up and Josh hugged her. "Hopefully fate will bring us together again sometime." he said.

"Hopefully." she said smiling as she got into Myah's car. They drove away.
