Chap 5

4 days later:

Lizzie POV:
I wake up around 09:00 am and send a message to Scarlett and Zoe.

Me:
Hi, would you like to come to my house for the afternoon ?

Scar 🕷:
Totally 😁

Zoe 🐸:
I'm in too ! What time should we be there ?

Me:
2:30pm so we can enjoy the pool because Y/n is cleaning it

Scar🕷:
Your ex work at home ?

Me:
Yeah and she sleep here too 🙄

Zoe 🐸:
Isn't that a little weird ?🤔

Me:
A little, but that's all in the past. Well I'll leave you to get ready, see you later

I go down to have my breakfast on the terrace and see Y/n downstairs cleaning the pool.
"How are you doing" I shout to her from the top of the terrace
"Pretty good" she replies
"You think you get this done by 2:30pm ?"
"I don't know. Why?" she asks me
"Scarlett and Zoe are going to spend the afternoon here and we were planning to enjoy the pool" I answer her
"Alright well I'll try to finish in time" she says and goes back to her work

Y/n POV:
"Who does she think she is" I think to myself
I finish cleaning the pool around 2:00pm and go to see Mr. Olsen to find out was my next task will be. Arrived in front of his office I knock and he opens the door.
"Hello Sir, I was coming to tell you that I had finished cleaning the pool and I wanted to know what my next task was ?"
"Well, since you've done such a good job since the beginning of the week I decided that you could have the rest of the afternoon off" he answer me
"Thank you very much. By the way, can I load my stuff in my car tonight ?"
"Yes, no problem"
When I leave his office, I go up to my room to take my suit, my swimsuit and my board to go surfing. On the way to my car I pass Ashley and MK.
"Y/n, where are you going ? "asks MK
"I'm going surfing because your dad gave me the afternoon off" I answer
"Great, do you mind if we come with you" asks Ashley
"No, not at all I tell her"
"Perfect, I'll go get Lizzie so she can join us" shouts Ashley from the front door.
At the same time a car arrives in the alley, parks and two people get ou and it's none other than Scarlett and Zoe. They walk towards me and MK to greet us. Zoe stares at me from all angles which makes me uncomfortable but luckily Ashley comes in with Lizzie.
"Hi girls, I hope you had a good trip. By the way there has been a change of plans for this afternoon, finally we are going to the beach with my sisters and  Y/n" announces Lizzie
"Ok, that's fine with me" replies Zoe while continuing to stare at me
"Yes me too" Scarlett retorts
"Well, since it's okay with everyone, we can go" I tell them
Me, Ashley and MK go in my car while Scarlett, Zoe and Lizzie go in Scarlett's car. The ride is pretty quiet and goes by pretty quickly. We arrived before Scarlett which gave us time to find a spot on the beach and me to get in the water already to do some surf

Lizzie POV:
When I arrived to greet the girls, I saw there was tension between Zoe and Y/n. She kept staring at her in a very insistant way, fortunately Y/n spoke up to break this tension and we left in our respective cars. The trip was long especially because the girls harass me with questions about Y/n which annoyed me.
"How come we end up going to the beach whit your ex ?" asked Zoe
"My dad gave her the afternoon off and she was going surfing when she ran into my sisters who asked if they could go with her. Obviously she accepted so Ashley came to pick me up and didn't necessarily leave me any choice" I answer her in a bored tone
"Well anyway it won't stop us from enjoying this day" Scarlett says
"Yes it's true, you're right" I answer her
At the same time, I receive a message from MK to tell me that they have just arrived and that they are settling in.
"MK just told me they had arrived" I tell them
"Ok, we'll be there in 5 minutes" Scarlett replies
When we arrived at the beach, Scarlett parked.  We took our things and walked to the place where my sisters and Y/n where.
"Where is Y/n ?" asks Scarlett
"She's already in the water" answers Ashley
"Well, it's about time we go in too" exclaims MK
The four of us head into the water towards where Y/n is.

Y/n POV:
I'm sitting on my board waiting for the waves when suddenly I feel something grab my foot and pull me into the water which makes me fall off my board. Once I manage to get back to the surface, I see the group of girls laughing to tears.
"You should have seen your face, it was so funny" says Ashley breathlessly
"Ah ah really mature of you all" I reply sarcastically
"Oh come on Y/n, don't sulk, we're just kidding" says MK
"Plus you have to teach us how to surf, remember" Ashley retorts
"Yeah, that's right. Ok here's the deal, I'll finish my session and then I'll teach you" I offer them
Perfect they answer at the same time
I manage to catch some waves and I try to do some tricks but the waves are not big enough. I decide to take 3-4 more and then go find MK and Ashley to teach them.

Lizzie POV:
After scaring Y/n, we went back to our towels.
"She's pretty good" Scarlett tells me
"Yeah she is" I say
"You too, she'll teach you how to do it" Scarlett asks me with a smirk
"First of all, what does that smirk mean and secondly, no, I don't want to learn how to do it" I answer with a slightly annoyed tone
"Oh nothing. I would like to learn" she retorts

Y/n POV:
I get to the towel level, grab my sunglasses, my wallet and leave to rent some boards so the girls can surf. Scarlett joins me and helps me carry the boards.
"So you and Lizzie used to date in college" Scarlett asks me
"Yeah, but I don't want to talk about this"
"Ok no worries. So you've been surfing for how long to be this good ?"
"I first got on a board when I was 4 but I started to ride seriously when I was 5" I answer her
"You've been doing this for 17 years, I understand better why you are so good"
"Thank you" I answer a little embarrassed
When we get back to the towel level, Ashley, MK and Scarlett have grabbed some boards while Lizzie and Zoe are left on their towels talking.
