Time eventually passed and we ended up lying down on the grass, stargazing and talking about random things about ourselves. For the first time in my life, I wished I could freeze time and stay there forever, under the stars, with him and his arm under my head.
I was telling him about my childhood, and I suddenly turned my head to him only to realise that he had been staring at me this entire time. His eyes were sparkling, and I could feel his soft breath caressing my face. I swallowed as I registered the distance between us.
He brought his hand up to my face and stroked it. I took in a sharp breath and could feel my heart doing gymnastics.
"Moon Jia," Minghao whispered in his honey-like voice. "I really, really like you..."
