I went to my bench and then decided to move to another spot. I've been here for way to long and it was time to leave. I thought that the place under the bridge would be free now, the girls should be at school right now. So, I went to that bridge, and no one was there, I took my stuff and made a comfy place for myself. Then I took a bit of money and bought pillows and a workout mat. Now it would be a lot more comfortable to sleep. Then I checked my messages and insta, my mom had sent me even more SMS's but I didn't care and deleted them. Since I couldn't really go around, because my mom or the police would find me then. So, I stayed down there under the bridge, I browsed on Instagram and in general had a very boring pre midday. Then my mom texted: "If you don't come home right now, I will send more police, and if they find you, you will face consequences!!" Wow, that was great news, ok now I'm just joking. I really considered going back home, but then I would add even more to my mom's pain. Also, I didn't really know what to expect by: "consequences". All I knew was that I was not going to go back home, I didn't want to. I got hungry after a bit of time, so I took 20$ and went to the grocery store. I got myself a few sandwiches, then I saw a few people from school. They were probably skipping school; I was praying that they would notice me. The first good thing that happened was that they really didn't, and I could just vanish with my sandwiches. When eating them I thought about home and how peaceful it was before my stepdad came into my life. I started packing my bag in the will of going back home, but instead I just sat there and told myself that it was a bad idea. I took my phone out and checked the news to stay updated about the "outside world". Then I spotted my name, the articles headline was "Young girl missing, police are searching". Wow, how creative. I read through the article and found out that the police suspected that I had ran away. I also found that they already had an idea where I was. Shit, they were misgendering me and also about to find me. I didn't know if I should stay under the bridge or go to another place. I decided it was best for me to leave, so I took my stuff and went straight ahead. I didn't know where I was going, I only knew that I didn't want to get caught. I didn't want my mom to suffer again, not because I was back home. After some time, I ended up in a park, then I figured out it was the park of my neighbour town. I really thought I was far away from home, but I apparently, I was not. I found a nice park bench to sleep on tonight and then just sat there listening to music. I looked around in the park and then spotted the one thing I didn't want to see, a few policemen. They were going around the park questioning people, I hoped they were looking for someone else. Then one of them came close to me and shouted to his friends: "I found the missing girl, its her right there". Oh shit, they had found me, I wanted to grab my stuff and run away, but the police officer stopped me. He and his friends asked e to go with them, first I hesitated but then I just went to their car. Then one of them called my mom and the other one got into the driver's seat. The third one asked me a few questions, like why I ran away or where I slept. I answered all of his questions and didn't leave out a detail, I was caught already so why lying. Then he told me that he and the other policemen would bring me home now. I told them that I really didn't want to, but they demanded I would go home. The drive didn't take to long, as we arrived at our house my mom was already standing outside. She was crying, my stepdad was behind her rubbing her back and comforting her. As I got out of the car my mom wanted to hug me, but my stepdad held her back. The officers then asked for some support to take my stepdad away, my mom sobbed as she heard that. Then the officers, me and my mom went inside. The officers asked mom and me a few more questions and then left. As they closed the door mom said:" You read my message, and I meant it, that's why I'm going to....
