"We have to start moving, Dream is getting ground because of this." Sam said. "And do we just leave Sapnap?!" George spat back. "No, of course not. I'll stay." Silence filled the grove. No one is exactly sure how to reply. "You? Why you? Wouldn't it make more sense for George to stay?" Bad asked awkwardly. George looked over at him in surprise, sure maybe to them it made sense. But he wanted revenge. Revenge for what Dream did.

"I need to be the one." Sam insisted.

"Why?"

"I was the Warden. I have the most first aid training here. And I doubt that Sapnap will listen to any of you if- when - he wakes up." It did make sense even if George hated it. Sapnap was his family, and part of him didn't want to leave. While the other part of him wanted to kill the man that did this to him. The man that used to be his family.

"If we go, then how will we know what happens to you?" George asked quietly. Sam stared blankly at the ground for a second. "While the possibility that Dream makes a loop around to come back and finish Sapnap off is real, I doubt he would. So, I'll stay here with Sapnap until he recovers. Then I'll return to the SMP. Sapnap will take my compass and find you guys."

"And you're going back to the SMP because?" Ant asked.

Sam stared into the distance for a moment, looking lost in thought. But the one word he spoke. The one name he spoke, made everyone understand. "Hannah." Everyone there knew the two were on bad terms when Sam left. Though no one really knew why. "Tell her we say hi." Bad said, standing up and checking his gear. George and Ant followed his lead.

"We'll see you, Sam." Bad said, turning to walk towards the trees. Ant waved while also following. George stood there for a moment, Sam watching him. "Goodluck." George began to walk away as well. "With what?" Sam called out. "Sapnap hates being babied even if he just got stabbed." George smiled as he ran to catch up with the remaining two hunters.

Dream sprinted across the desert, willing himself to find something he could use. Something he could do to get them memory of his friend's blood off his hands. Sure the blood was long gone by now, but Dream could swear he still felt it. He felt it sticking to his skin. He felt it rubbing on his clothes. He felt it. He felt it. He felt it. He- No. No, the blood was gone. It was gone and he had to believe it.

He had to make himself believe it. Or else the feeling wouldn't go away. Ever. So Dream stopped near a lava pool. Once he would have thought that this would be a nice place to make a portal. Now all he thought about was how it was going to destroy the thing that brought harm. A dagger rested in Dream's hand, covered and caked in dry blood. Sapnap's blood.

This thing was the weapon he had used to kill a brother. A brother turned enemy. A brother destined to kill him. Dream knew this. He knew that eventually he would die. And it wouldn't be from natural causes. He held the dagger over the lava pit, breathing in as the heat brushed against his face. He let the dagger drop.

Hello!!! So the chapters have been really short since I haven't had much time recently. (Or focus but let's not dwell on that). ONE DAY I SHALL HAVE OVER 1K WORDS PER CHAPTER AGAIN. ONE DAY. Since school is almost over I've had a couple of projects on my mind. Anyways, hope you're having a great day or night! :)
