Suddenly You

RK was about to leave for office when Malik walks in.

"Hello Uncle." RK greets smiling.

"Rishu... how are you?" Malik asks warmly.

"I am good uncle and you?"

"Good... good... how is your business going?"

"Going good."

"I am hearing lot of good things about you. It makes me so proud." Malik tells him proudly.

"All I know, I learned from you." RK tells him smiling remembering all the help he had showered on him ever since he completed his studies couple of years ago. "Please sit, uncle. I'll call Baba."

"I need to talk to you also." Malik tells him.

"Okay." RK nods and goes to call his father.

"Malik Sir aap? Why did you come here? You should have called me and I would have come." Mohan tells him.

"I have been telling you for years now you are no longer my driver so you should drop the sir." Malik tells him smiling.

"Old habits die hard." RK tells him chuckling.

"How is everyone at home?" Mohan asks him.

"Everyone's good. The reason I came here is because I wanted to talk to you about Madhu."

"Madhu?" Mohan asks curiously.

"Yes... for a while I've been having this wish to see Madhu married to Rishu... I thought I should just stop procrastinating and just talk to you about it." Malik tells them.

RK's heart skipped a beat hearing that. Madhu and him? They have known each other since Madhu was born and they were kind of friends or rather friendly but marriage?

"What are you saying?" Mohan asks shocked, "You are so rich and we are..."

"I have seen Rishu's capabilities and I know he will go a long way. He'll achieve more than I have ever achieved. I have high hopes in him and I believe that he'll surpass my hopes too." Malik tells him confidently.

"But you are my boss."

"I was."

"Even Rishu worked for you."

"He was a trainee in my company."

"You are you and we are us." Mohan says helplessly.

"If our social situation is your issue, then please don't say no but if it is something else then I'll understand." Malik tells him gently.

"There is no other issue... Madhu is just like my daughter."

"So shall I consider it as a yes from your side?" Malik asks smiling excitedly.

Mohan turns to RK and asks him gently, "Rishu?"

"What did Madhu say?" RK asks Malik.

"I didn't talk to her about it yet. I thought if you say no then she might be embarrassed in meeting you later so thought I will talk to you first." Malik explains.

"Will she agree?" RK asks him.

"She wants to torture me. I thought like Trishna and Dipali she will find her husband all by herself but then the girl is determined to have an arranged marriage saying I should choose a guy for her and she will marry him happily." Malik says tired shaking his head.

RK and Mohan chuckles hearing Malik's sob story.

"And I can never find anyone better than you." Malik tells RK.
