About 10 minutes later Kelly comes back and we meet in the Chiefs office to discuss things

K= We've search the house all the rigs  I've reached out to the entire high school and that strut still hasn't surface any further word for FAA
CB= Well they're gone straight up the chain of command fire commissioner city comptroller mayors office but I told them all the same thing you didn't take it
S= does Kelly need to talk to the union web maybe lawyer up
CB= The fact that culter never came with a search warrant suggest he doesn't have a very strong case against you so maybe we should all just sit tight let this whole thing blow over
K= i'm not gonna sit tight whole you're getting angry phone calls from the mayor's office guess I'll just order some spring cleaning search all the rigs again  ( he leaves)
CB= so what do you think of needles
S= I mean maybe he's not the most friendly guy in the world but you know that generation sure he's harmless
CB= well Kylie tells me he took her on a date so they're seeing each other now
S= what no way uh-huh no we can allow Argo to lower her standards like that
CB= no we cannot

Me and Boden figure out a way to talk to Kylie about needles in the nicest way ( on the apparatus floor )

HS= hey remember me
CR= of course what's going on
HS= it's about the missing airplane part
CR= yeah you know something
HS= maybe if if I tell you who caught it they're going to get in trouble
CR= that's not really up to us but it will be a lot better for them if they come forward with it voluntarily
HS= it's not me man just just forget it I said anything
CR= hey whoa you you can't tell me you know you got it and then just walk out of here
HS= i'm no snitch
CR= Kay but here's the thing Marco a firefighters going to end up taking the hit for this one of the guys that help Savior class mates are you OK with that look I know it's not always easy to do the white thing but you're not a coward I saw you brave a wall of fire to get yourself out of the classroom hell it even takes guts to come down here and talk to me but you got to finish what you started.

Ritter comes and find me and Kelly to show us a video

OB= I found this near the tracks not sure what it does exactly but it's got to be structural it's super strong made from chromium molybdenum alloy steel
CR= That looks just like a Halligan bar right
S= yeah which must be why someone thought they saw you leaving with it
K= yeah no doubt who is this kid
CR= his name is Oliver Bell a senior he pulled that video downwide after you visited school
K= so how did you get a copy
CR= One of the other students I promised him we would leave him out of this
K= well all I care about is finding this little punk can you forward that to me
CR= yeah you bet
K= All right I'm gonna go tell Boden and then I'm going back to the school 
S= all right great work
CR= yeah

Kelly goes and finds the kid to get the thing back.

K= hey Oliver I'm one of the firefighters from the other day
CB= cool
K= yeah I'm gonna need that chunk of metal you picked up
OB= what chunk of metal
K= you can drop the act I saw the TickTock after we talk to you you took it down after we told you that taking the strut was a felony
OB= please I didn't know what to do it was just a stupid mistake I thought it was basically junk but now if I turn it in I'm supposed to go to a college next year I got into an engineering program
K= things are gonna get a lot worse for you if you don't turn it in
OB= if I get any trouble they'll  revoke my acceptance everything I've worked for just gone
K= all right just give me the strut and I'll make sure none of that happens

Later on me and Boden decide to talk to Kylie

S= we have to be firm and have a United from
CB= no clocks in the armor
S= yes right
CB= right
S= Kylie can we see you for a moment
KY= yeah
CB= hey have a seat
KY= did I do something wrong
S= no no not at all you know you're doing a fantastic job
CB= this is not about work exactly it's uh
S= well we just want to talk
KY= okay
S= so we trust you we think you make good decisions and we don't normally impose any women but as for the boy that you are seeing it's
CB= he may not have the best intentions
S= and we're not here to say who you can and can't date
CB= we think that you're a fine young woman I think that you deserve a fine young man
S= yes
KY= and you don't think that  fine young man could be needles
CB= um actually well it's ...
S= we are speaking generally we are not judging anyone.
KY= well I am for our date he took me to a tattoo parlor where he also works he just wanted to brag about his art that's where his nickname comes from and uh talk about how awesome he is he's really full of himself trust me they will not be a second date so is that all you needed me for or
CB= no that's all for now yes dismiss
KY=  thanks mom and dad ( she leaves)
S= well I did say that she could handle herself so ( I walk away )

K= this is a helicon bar a forcible entry tool design by a deputy chief out of New York named Hugh Halligan  in 1948 and ....  this is what one of my guys found while cleaning out the bunker room 
CB= i'm sure you can understand how Lieutenant severide confused it with his own tool after a long chaotic fire rescue
AC= you guys are something else you could've just looked for it when I asked you to but no you had to puff up your chest
K= well you got it back now so
CB= can we assume that puts this ugly chapter behind us
AC= well I gotta get back  to my guys make sure it's still intact but I should be able to convince my boss we don't need to press charges on this one
K= thanks
AC= gentlemen
CB= thank you very much ( he leaves ). You were willing to take a bullet for that kid I'm glad It missed

So after the guy leaves Kelly comes and tells me what happened and everything is now, after shift I tell him I plan on taking him somewhere special so we arrive

K= what are we doing here
S= I told you just be patient ... ( stop walkimg) okay so right over there that is where I almost lost you ( Kelly looks at her)  you know I stood watching the boat in the water waiting for you to come up for air and ( face her) I mean I'll never forget that feeling just thinking of Life without you  it felt like no life at all  and I never want to feel that way again look we are both taking a big leap of  Faith  here you know we're jumping into the unknown that carries a lot of baggage from both of our past and neither of us thought we'd ever try again but we can do this I know it
K= I know it too I'm all in
S= and I know it may sound crazy but this is what I want to do it
K= ( looks around) right here
S= well at the Crystal Gardens unless you hate it
K= no if this is where you wanna do it then it's perfect
S= really
K= I love it I love you

Kelly kisses me and  we decide to walk around the pier for a few and discuss everything that goes along with the wedding

Authors note: yes they picked a location for the wedding cannot wait to see the wedding itself. I hope you like how I made this episode into a chapter.
