DAVE'S POV.
I was smiling while driving on the way to the hospital where's my mom confine. I can't get enough of Shane's face out in my head. She's so adorable awhile ago. Biting her lower lip because she's shy of me. I don't know why she's till feel uncomfortable with me. We've been in relationship in years before the accident and still she can't be fully sweet with me.
"I'm whipped. Fuck it." Bulong ko.
Tumawag ako kay Fae ng sabihin sa akin ni Shane ang tungkol kay mom akala ko tinawagan siya para kausapin or what but I didn't expect it to be that. My mom has a heart problem. She can't be shock because it can affect her heart. And now... damn it.
A ringing call pull out on my reverie. I look at it and see that it's Fae I answer it.
"Where are you? Why are you taking so long? Your mom has been calling you." Bungad sa akin ni Fae.
"I'm sorry. I'm on my way. I'm driving." Sagot ko habang ang tingin sa daan. My dad was there too and I know they will take care of mom. Papunta na rin naman ako.
"Saan ka pa ba galing? Sa babae mo? Shane? Is that the name?" Mariin ang boses ni Fae. I tighten my hold on the steering wheel as I heard what she call to Shane.
"Watch your words Fae. Shane isn't just my woman. I hanging up." Saka ko pinatay ng hindi pa siya nakakasalita. I don't want to be rude but I can't stop when she call Shane like it's the bitch outside that flirting. Shane is important to me. I don't want others calling him that. I love her.
Huminga ako ng malalim at inisip na lang si Shane. Napangiti na lang ako ng maalala ko kung paano ako nakapunta sa coron.
"Where are you going?" Napalingon ako sa lalaking kakapasok lang ng condo ko habang nagliligpit ako ng damit sa maleta ko.
"Oh you're here. Tatawagan pa lang kita." Totoo 'yon. Tatawagan ko pa lang to do just a little favor.
Umupo si gelo sofa habang nakatanaw sa akin. Hawak niya na ang rubics cube ko na nakalagay sa vanity table sa harap.
"Huh? Favor again?" Sagot niya. Well he knows. I shrugged.
"I'll be going on coron. Can you pull some strings? There's no ticket now. I want to go there first." I answer while fixing my clothes and essentials. According to my source, Shane will having a quick vacation in coron. I want to see her. Yeah yeah.
"Wow. And why are going there? And why me?" Nagtatakang tanong niya. Tumigil ako at tiningnan siya. Mukhang nahalata niya dahil sumandal siya habang nilalaro ang rubics cube.
"I'm busy." Sabi ko na lang.
"Yeah yeah. Be thankful because I'm a nice and supportive fucking best friend. Tsk." Iling niya. Ngumisi ako sa kanya.
"Thanks best friend." Nangaasar kong sabi. Napahalakhak ako ng itaas niya ang middle finger niya.
Kaya ng gabing 'yon ay nakasakay ako ng private plane dahil ubos na ang ticket papuntang coron dahil sila Shane ay kinabukasan pa at I want to be there early so she can't assume that I've been stalking her. I creep to myself. Ganyan nga dave sumunod ka sa kanya dahil aso ka.
Natatawa na lang ako dahil mukhang naging maganda naman ang sunod ko sa kanila dahil nagkaayos kami. I park my car when I arrive to the hospital. Pumunta akong desk to ask where's room but Fae welcome me.
