Chapter 14

I awoke in the morning and it's 5:45 not too bad. Earlier than I need to be up but not that bad. I grab my phone and text Sam.
Good morning! It's Friday!!!!! Oh my gosh I can't wait for you to come over. It's going to be a blast. Okay nuff said I'll call you right after school. Love you. I set my phone down on my bed and get ready for school. I grab a pair of jeans and grey tshirt. Hey it's Friday why try right? I can't wait for after school that's all I can think of at this moment. Cmon Alex focus. You have at least eight more hours before Sam comes. You can get through it. Can I really though? My phone buzzes pulling me out of my thoughts. It's from Sam.
Good morning girlie! I can't wait for tonight. It's going to be sooo much fun. I hope you have a fantabulous day at school! Can't wait for tonight! Love you! Xoxo.
After reading what Sam texted back I shoved my phone into my bag and headed down stairs.
"Good morning honey." My mom says right when I enter the kitchen.
"Good morning Mom."
"Are you excited for Sam to come over?"
"Yes!" I practically scream it. "I'm so excited. I hope this day goes by really fast. Oh by the way her mom knows that she's sleeping over right?"
"Yes she does. She's actually staying for dinner. We're all going to sit down and eat together. We never get to talk to each other." My mom says that last sentence with so much sarcasm it's funny.
"You guys are like Sam and I. You talk to each other for hours and hours every day. Don't even get me started."
"Okay okay!" She puts her hands up in surrender.
"I gotta go. Love you."
"Have a great day honey. Love you too." And with my mom saying that I rush out the front door.

I get to school and nobody is there I'm glad though because maybe I won't get bullied. Pfft as if. Of course I will. As I'm finishing up at my locker Sarah walks over to me.
"Hey Alex!! How are you I feel like we never talk anymore!" She says with a huge smile on her face with so much excitement in her voice I would of thought she was telling the truth but this is Sarah we are talking about. Evil, mean and annoying Sarah. I try to just push past her but her two guys that I'm pretty sure helped kidnap me that day come up and push my back against the lockers.
"Leave me alone." I say trying to make me sound strong but it just comes out weak. They ignore my comment and just stand in front of me with my arms pinned against the locker.
"Help! Help!" I scream but they push their hand against my mouth to muffle the sound.
"Hey! Get off her!!" Elliot yells. I can't see him but I can just tell it's him from his voice. "Hey are you doofuses deaf or something? I said get away from her."
"No I think we're good right here." The guy says that has a hand around my mouth. I bite down on his finger which causes him to lose his grip. Then I stomp on his foot. "Ow!" I walk away from that scene as fast as I can and head to my
biology room. Doesn't help that Elliot and Sarah are in there first period too. But you know everyone has things they have to deal with in there life.
I walk right through the door and head to my seat. I put my bag down on the ground and start doodling on a piece of paper. I almost finished drawing my flower when Elliot walks in the door and sits down in his seat.
"That's a nice flower you drew."
"Thanks." I say as I'm closing my notebook to put away.
"So are you okay?"
"Fine. You?"
"Fine. Up until I saw them being horribly mean to you."
"Yeah well can't go one day without picking on me. And first period hasn't even started and I've already been picked on once. Whatever." Right when I finish speaking the teacher walks in and says for everyone to settle down and get ready for class.
"Okay class today we will be doing a lab." I don't care. A lab is so easy. Well I guess it depends on what kind of lab. Whatever. "You will be working with your partner on this and turn it in at the end of class. Good luck!" After my teacher hands out the lab papers to us I turn to Elliot.
"Okay how about you go get the supplies to do it and I'll read over it. That way when you come back I can explain what we're going to do okay?"
"Cool." He says as he's getting out of his seat to go get the material. The lab looks easy but I was so wrong. We had to mix stuff and try to find different ones. It is so hard. By the end of class we finished with just a minute to spare. We both get up as the bell rings to hand in our paper. "Bye." I say to the teacher as I'm heading out of the room.
"So how did your little experiment go Alex?" Someone comes up to me and says. It's Sarah I can just tell by what she's thinking.
"Fine now goodbye." I say so I can get to my next class.
