Deep searing pain ripped through my core, causing me to buckle over. The energy rocked against my ribcage knocking the air out of my lungs. The wall shook slightly and cracks formed letting beams of violet light through.  Clenching my teeth I smacked my hand back on the wall and willed my magic to break through.

"Destruesque!"

As a gut-wrenching scream tore through my chest and something snapped inside me, I thought about what we needed to do. How we needed something to close the breach in the sky. Everyone was counting on me, I needed to save my friends here as well as on earth. I had to somehow bring back the goddess. The wall crumbled into dust and a bright violet light engulfed us. I felt Isabella's arms wrap around me and pull me to the ground.

I felt like I had taken several shots of espresso, my magic was free, it filled me up with warm buzzing energy and in a blink of an eye,  I was back in the library. My head rested in Isaacs lap and his smile was so wide it made his eyes squint.

"How do you feel?" he asked.

"Like a bomb just exploded inside me." I groaned and sat up slowly, shaking off the woozines I felt. That's when I heard it. Faint whispering tickled my ears and tugged at my mind. Something was trying to reach out to me. Was it a sign?

"Does anyone else hear that whispering?" tilting my head to try and find what direction it was coming from.

They all shook their heads. Even Isabella. Isaac helped me stand and I looked around the massive room. The whispers were coming from further in and when I started to climb one of the staircases they got louder. I couldn't understand what they were saying, it sounded like an ancient language, gibberish almost. Ena, mitha, ivor, ender alas, ena, ishel.. Was it elvish? I reached the second story scanning the tall bookcases for anything that looked important. The voices, getting louder by the minute. Until finally, my eyes settled on a thick blue tome, its golden etchings on the spine seemed to glow and jump out at me. Begging me to open and read its contents.

Ezekiel and the others followed closely behind me.

"Ezekiel, does Ena, mitha, ivor, ender alas, ena, ishel mean anything to you?" I cautiously examined the symbols on the spine. They seemed to glow brighter as I got closer.

Ezekiel paused for a moment, his eyes widening, "that's old elvish. Let's see here... Ena mitha ivor ender alas ena ishel" the words rolled off his tongue in a rhythmic tone. "If I'm remembering correctly it means—The answer lies dormant beneath the ground" he translated.

"Well that doesn't help much does it?" Isabella scoffed, "for once I wish the Goddess could just spell it out for us, instead of trying to guide us with cryptic messages." she folded her arms in front of her chest and blew stray black strands out of her face.

"Fear not dear Isa, depending on the contents of that book it may help more than we know." He chuckled and I caught the slightest blush emerging on Isabella's face.
