summary : you always had a crush on your best friend's brother until one night changed everything.

You zipped your suitcase getting excited about to spend your break at your best friend's manor. Doing a sleepover with Athena Malfoy had become a thing for you. You wouldn't be surprised if someday Narcissa would call you her daughter, you were that close with the youngest heir.

But what Athena didn't know won't hurt her, you've known as the best of keeping secrets, especially.. to yourself. It was your best friend's brother. He was two years older than you, it started on a harmless crush you had since you became friends with his sister, but now seeing him around when you were in her house would be a bonus for you.

How can you not, though? Not when he looks like that. Everything you've craved in a man.

"Merlin. Get yourself together, Y/n." Mumbling to yourself, you shut your door quite harshly before apparating to the Malfoy Manor.

"Y/n!! Finally. I missed you so much!" You quickly pulled her into a tight embrace.

"I missed you too, babe. I can't wait to spend so much time with you here" You matched her energy as Athena guides you in to the manor.

"Me too, I have so much plans for us since my parents won't be home for this break! Now let's go to my room"

Athena already running upstairs as you went to gathered your belongings, you were about to lift up your suitcase and turned around until you hit something hard.

"Careful Y/n."

Shit. That voice. When did he even get here?

Draco had his arm wrapped around your waist to prevent you from falling and his other hand taking over your suitcase so it wouldn't fell with you.

"S-sorry.." You muttered, face heated in embarassment. You went to grab your suitcase but he stopped you.

"'s alright, love. Let me help you." What did he just call you? Your heart started to speeds up.

"Thanks, Draco."

He doesn't answer, letting you lead the way upstairs as he followed you behind. You just can only hope your hair doesn't look ugly from behind or your back-

"Relax, Y/n. Don't stress it out." Unknown to you, he was smirking watching the power he has over you, your nervous shaking figure were obvious to him.

You didn't reply, not wanting to embarrass yourself more.

"-Yeah that was it. He said he wants to hang out on this saturday.. y'know to get to know each other ." Athena blushed, she was blabbering out about her plans with the guy she just met weeks ago.

"Oh really?! That's amazing! Oh my god it's going well I'm so happy for you!" You clapped your hands in excitement.

"-But does that mean you gonna ditch me for a guy and leave me alone in this big big manor of yours?!"

"Oh c'mon don't be so dramatic! But enough about me. What about you, Y/n? Got your eyes on someone?" The unexpected question got you stopped right there,

"N-no! Not yet, I mean. I'm not really looking, though." You mentally slapped yourself for lying to your best friend.

"Don't worry I'll ask Leo if he got any friends who's single" She laughs as you slapped her left arm.
