Luke was walking around the back yard and Alex was trying to touch the flowers when Reggie and I had caught up to them. Alex looked at us and saw our hands. He smirk and walked towards the door.

"Reggie, come here!" Luke called as he looked at the door.

Reggie dropped my hand and ran off to Luke. I was slightly disappointed, but I didn't say anything. I walked up to the door just as Luke hesitantly walked through it. Reggie followed him and Alex gave one last smirk before walking through. I rolled my eyes and entered.

Julie was eating dinner with the boy from before, assuming its her brother, and what I think is her father. There was a woman there too. Julie let out a yell when she us.

"Uh that was me ripping off the bandaid," Julie said nervously to the woman. "Aah."

"That's my brave girl," the woman replied.

At this point, the boys and I had started walking around the dining room.

"Hey Julie, I like what you guys did with the place," Luke told her.

"You shouldn't be here," she whipser-yelled.

"Oh...I'm sorry," the woman started. "Mija, I'm only trying to help."

"Uh yeah. That's our cue to leave," I said, trying to round up the boys to go back to the garage.

"I mean," Julie tried to save herself, "you should be at Pilates. Thanks for bringing us food."

"We should've called first," Reggie apologized.

"Uh huh." I said as we left the room. We walked down to the garage.

As soon as we entered, Luke threw himself on the couch. A few seconds passed before he looked at us and smirked.

I looked at Alex and smiled with Reggie doing the same. Alex practically ran to his drums, Luke grabbed his guitar and Reggie his bass, and I hurried up to the loft to grab my guitar. Luke anxiously plugged un his amp as Alex gave us a beat. I started to play a small riff and Luke smiled.

"Whoa, look at you, Rockstar." Alex smiled.

"Oh shut up."

Luke and Reggie then joined and it sounded amazing.

Luke bit his lip as he played, something he did when he was really concentrated.

Reggie gave me a wink and it gave me butterflies. Even after 25 years, that boy still gives me butterflies.

I couldn't ask for anything better than this. This is exactly what I missed. Doing what I love with my best friends.

Our moment was cut short when Julie came into the garage.

"Guys guys stop stop! Enough, cut it out. The whole neighborhood could hear you!" Julie exasperated. "I thought I told you to leave."

"Wait, people can hear us play?" Luke asked.

"Yes! And so did my dad and brother." Julie explained.

"Wait wait. So only you can see us, but  people can hear us? What kind of ghosts are we?" I questioned.

"Who cares, Jay? People can hear us play!" Luke said excitedly.

"We might be dead, but our music isn't!" Reggie smiled.

"Dad!" Julie said as her father entered the garage.

"Hey," he said quietly. "Just making sure you're ok."

"Yeah. I just had to turn off the CD player."

"Is that the junk form the loft?" Julie's dad referred to our instruments.
