Championship na. After 6 consecutive games, ito na talaga.

"TAYO ULIT! HEARTSTRONG ATENEO?" sigaw ko sa buong team.

"HEARTSTRONG!"

Last play ko na to at ako ngayon ang kapitana ng team. Who would have thought it would end this way? There's no time for self-doubt, no time for mistakes, no time for fear, no time for losing.

As I roam my eyes around the crowd, I see them.

Ate Jia, Ate Bei, Ate Jho, Ate Maddie pumping their fists sa chest nila. They are my inspirations. They are my goals. They kept me going. There's no looking back. Kukunin namin to. Ipapanalo namin to.

And I saw her looking straight at me. Kasama niya si Kyla. I know kalaban ko ngayon ang kapatid nya. She is playing for UST. Sa dami ng crowd, sa ilang segundong yun, it feels like kami lang dalawa ang nagmamatter. Parang yung pakiramdam namin everytime we hang out sa little secret training grounds namin.

There are no words, pero with those eyes, naramdaman ko lahat ng gusto niyang sabihin.

I nodded at her and went back to my team.

I look at her and saw all the determination din sa mga mata niya.

and then the game started.

Nakuha na namin ang dalawang naunang set. We've decided na wala ng ibigay pa na pagkakataon sa UST para mabawi pa tong patatlong set. Isang puntos na lang.
