THREE YEARS LATER
I am beginning to regret seducing Valentino last night.
I thought if I exhausted Valentino last night with a lot of sex, he would sleep in longer this morning. Luckily, he is sleeping in, longer than I expected him to, but my legs are so damn sore from how hard he fucked me last night. Don't get me wrong, it was amazing, but the man has the stamina of a horse. I was beyond exhausted when we were finished.
I was a little worried that I would not have been able to wake up this morning to make breakfast in bed for Valentino. Today happens to be his 30th birthday, so it's a very special day for him. He says he doesn't want to do anything today and instead spend the day as a family, but we will be doing a few things throughout the day.
Somehow, I got Marcus to let me have the kitchen to myself for two hours, so I could prepare Valentino's favorite breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Anytime he craves them, he will ask me to make them because he likes the way I make them. Personally, I don't know what I do differently.
Marcus will sometimes get offended when Valentino declines his offer to make them.
"Mamá," Asteria says, tugging my cardigan, making it fall off my shoulder. "¿Puedes darme más cherries?"Can you give me more cherries?
"Yeah, sure," I told her, grabbing a handful of cherries and dropping it into the bowl she gave me before handing it to her. "This is your last refill because we want to save some room for breakfast too, okay?" Since the day that Rafael gave Asteria a cherry flavored lollipop, it's become her favorite flavor and fruit. At least him giving her a piece of candy paid off in the end because she's eating fruit everyday.
