"Bestie, I'm home!" I heard Blanca yell. I'm in my room and even with the door closed and the bathroom door closed as well, I could still hear her voice. "By the way, I went to the store and bought some chicken and shrimp since you asked me this morning. Oh and I brought more lemons. Where the hell are you because you usually meet me in the kitchen when I come home!"
I rolled my eyes while looking at myself in the bathroom mirror before smiling. "I just finished showering! I'm changing right now." I yelled back, hoping she heard me. I changed into the light blue sweatshirt and black leggings that I left on my bed before I showered. I think the sweatshirt I stole from Blanca a few days ago.

"Serious question, Celestina," Blanca begins when she sees me walk out of my room. "Do you ever miss modeling?"
"Sometimes." I respond while taking the chicken out of the plastic and washing it. I do the same for the shrimp. "Oh could you cut two lemons and put the rest in the fridge?" I ask.
"I think you only modeled for a few months, a year at most and then you stopped."
"I've realized when I modeled, guys tried to get with me. It made me realize they only wanted me for my body."
