Virion Eralith

After my conversation with Cynthia, I made my way to Tessia's room with my son and daughter-in-low.

"Young One! I have goo-" I said as I swung the door open but was interrupted.

"Grandpa! What did I say about knocking?!" she squealed as she quickly hid the orb Rinia had given her to check on the twins.

"I see you're using that orb well," I snickered, my usual stern expression replaced by that of a wily fox.

"Stupid Grandpa!" She reached under her pillow to throw the orb at me as I just barely saw how red her face had gotten.

She could do nothing more than let out a grumble as she whipped her head away from me to hide her embarrassment.

"Don't pout now! I've got some good news for you, Little One." She turned her head slightly just to indicate that she was listening.

Letting out another hearty laugh, I spoke. "Now, what if I said that you could have the chance to attend the same school that Arthur and Jayden will be attending—"

She didn't even let me finish as she whipped her head back around so quick she grew dizzy and cut me off. "Then I would say that you're the best Grandpa ever!"

"You're not lying to me, right?" She grabbed my sleeve and practically tugged it as hard as she could.

My son and daughter-in-law came in chuckling at our interaction. "Did you tell her, Father?" They walked into the room, smiling.

She turned to them, "Mama! Papa! Is it true? I can go to school with Arthur and Jayden?"

"Calm down, Tess," Merial gently chided as she patted her head.

"Your Grandfather has close ties with the current Director of Xyrus Academy. He got in contact with her recently and she was excitedly telling your Grandfather about how there will be two genius Quadra-Elemental Augmenters attending her school in two and three year's time," my son added.

"She told me Jayden would be attending in two years and Arthur in three. Who else besides Arthur and Jayden are Quadra-Elemental Augmenters? I instantly knew, but of course, I didn't say anything about me training either of them. That is a little secret I plan on surprising her with later on," I said as I grinned evilly.

"Why are they waiting so long before going to school? Aren't they more than fit to go now?" As calm as she attempted to sound, her excitement couldn't help her from grinning to her ears.

"Well, she did mention something about them wanting to be Aventurer's," I mused. It was the most likely case, considering how they wanted to gain some real-life experience even before they returned home.

Merial gently squeezed Tessia's hands. "The important part is that this gives us enough time. We're still trying to negotiate terms to have a trial run for the integration of the younger generations of elves and dwarves to attend school together with the humans at Xyrus Academy.

The King of Sapin agreed that the only way to start mending our relationship was by allowing the younger generation to form bonds with each other," she explained.

"You'd better train hard, Little One. A lot is riding on this. I'm willing to bet that Arthur and Jayden had chosen to become Adventurer's before attending school so that they could get some real experience in fighting.

After Jayden's done, he'll be attending Xyrus as the future Student Council President and will be shadowing the current President.

After Arthur's done, he'll be at the age a typical student would be, so stay on your toes. He's going to be popular, so if you don't snatch him, some other lucky girl will." I shot her an evil wink.
