Chapter 16

Matthew's pov

I heard a scream outside. Everyone runs outside to check what happened. Natalie. I thought to myself. I ran over to the car.

"No! No! No! Noooooo!" I screamed as I pulled Natalie out from under the car.

"Annaliese! Call 911!" I yelled as I tried to resuscitate Natalie.

"Come princess," I cried.

*at the hospital*

They took my princess away from my sight. I ran towards her chasing her. Two males nurses pushed me away from her.

"Stop! Let me see my princess!" I yelled crashing onto the floor.

"Matthew come on." Annaliese said with tears streaming out of her eyes. Her eyes a bright red color and her makeup running down her face.

"Annaliese," I cried as I pulled her down onto the floor. I let her cry into my chest while I cried on her head.

"Daddy?" Kody asked.

"Kody." I said as I pulled him into our hug.

"Mommy don't cry. Your too pretty," he said giving her sad eyes.

"Daddy? What's wrong? Why are we here?" Kody asked me.

"We'll tell you later Kody." I said as I pulled him closer into the hug.

*hour and half later*

"What's taking them so long?" I asked pacing.

"I don't know." Annaliese said.

I went up to the front office.

"Natalie Espinosa?" I asked impatiently.

"Sir you've asked me at least fifteen times. They have not informed me yet." She snapped.

I growled at her comment going back to Annaliese and Kody.

"Natalie Espinosa?" The doctor said.

I stood up running towards him as did everyone else. They stayed for Natalie.

"I'm sorry to inform you but we tried everything to resuscitate Natalie but we were unable to," the doctor said.

"No." I stated blankly as I fell onto my knees.

"I'm sorry sir," he said as he left.

Annaliese cried into her hands.

"Daddy where's Natalie?" Kody asked.

"She's some where better." I trailed off.

"Where's that?" Kody asked.

"Remember when grandma died?" I asked while he nodded. "She's up there with grandma."

"I want Natalie," he bawled into my chest.

"I do too. So does mommy." I said pointing towards an empty seat.

She told me if any of her kids died she would with them.

No she's going to kill herself.

"Kody. Go with Cameron," I said as he ran off crying to Cameron.

I ran up five flights of stairs. The top of the hospital. She sat on the ledge. Her feet dangling off the edge. She stared down at the ground.

"Please don't do it," I said pulling her off the ledge.

"Matthew stop it. I need to be with my princess!" She yelled.

"Annaliese, we can't forget her." I said as she bawled into my chest.

"She will never be forgotten. She's up there with grandma," she cried looking up.

Her eyes puffier than cheese puffs and redder than blood.

"She's watching Kody." She said.

"I miss her." I said to Annaliese.

"I love her and miss her so much," she cried even more.

"It's gunna be okay," I breathed a bit shakily.
